A Senior iOS Engineer builds and refines Blueground’s customer-facing mobile app (Swift/SwiftUI) to enhance the guest experience from booking to stay, focusing on offline-first architecture, accessibility, and AI-assisted development while collaborating with product, design, and backend teams.
At Blueground, we believe that when your base is reliable, the world opens up. That’s why we’re building the world’s leading platform for living.
Every year, over 350 million people move between cities — yet today’s housing options haven’t kept up with the needs of a modern, mobile generation. Blueground was created to change that.
With 60,000+ homes around the world, available for stays from a few days to a year or more, we’re only just getting started. We’re on an ambitious growth path to redefine living and create an entirely new category. Our edge? Powerful proprietary technology, operational excellence, and a team that moves with speed and discipline.
✨ Guests First – Every decision starts with their experience.
⚡ Move Fast – We value momentum and action.
🔍 Dive In – The magic is in the details, and we go deep.
🔄 Embrace Change – Change isn’t disruption; it’s how we grow.
🤝 Keep It Honest – Transparency accelerates progress and strengthens relationships.
If you’re ready to do the best work of your life and help reshape how the world lives, we’d love to meet you.
We're looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join Blueground's Client-Facing Mobile team and help shape the future of the guest experience.
Our mobile app is one of Blueground's most strategic products, accompanying guests throughout their entire journey—from discovering and booking their next home to managing every aspect of their stay. As we continue to invest heavily in our technology platform, we're redesigning our post-booking experience from the ground up while expanding the app to cover the complete booking journey, making it the primary touchpoint for thousands of guests every day.
As part of the team, you'll build high-quality native iOS experiences using modern technologies and engineering practices, collaborating closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to deliver features that are intuitive, reliable, and delightful to use. You'll have the opportunity to influence technical decisions, improve the architecture of our mobile platform, and contribute to a product that directly impacts our guests every day.
We're looking for product-minded engineers who care as much about the user experience as they do about clean architecture and code quality. You'll thrive here if you enjoy taking ownership, collaborating across disciplines, and building polished experiences that solve real customer problems.
We're also embracing AI as part of our engineering culture—both in the products we build and in the way we work. We actively use modern AI-assisted development tools to help us move faster, automate repetitive work, and focus on delivering meaningful value to our users.
Our code sits on GitHub, is built, tested, and packaged via GitHub Actions, and runs on Kubernetes. We manage projects in JIRA, our prototypes and mockups in Figma, and monitor our systems and performance in Datadog, with the help of Resolve.ai.
