🧡 Why you might love this role
- Work on a real product used daily by real customers around the world
- Own features end-to-end with AI agents (hi, Claude Code 👋) — schema, APIs, UI, tests, the whole nest 🪹
- Help shape how we build with AI, not just “take tickets”
- Turn the agent's recurring oopsies into reusable tooling, so the same mistake never bites us twice
- Join a small, friendly, slightly weird team where your ideas actually matter
🧠 Why Simplesat is interesting (for engineers)
- Build where it matters — the core product powering surveys, responses, analytics, and dashboards customers rely on every day
- Grow through real scale — real-time surveys for millions of responses, with instant syncing, reliable global delivery, and dashboards that stay fast and clear
- Learn from complexity — 75+ integrations, each one teaching you something about data flow, failure modes, and resilience
- Play on the AI frontier — we're actively reshaping how we build with AI, and you'll have outsized influence on what “good” looks like here
- Build for the future — clean, scalable architecture so we keep shipping quickly without painting ourselves into a corner
🧩 What you'll be doing
- Designing & building features end-to-end across our stack, directing AI agents to produce a PR you'd happily merge
- Making AI output trustworthy with unit + E2E automation and self-validating loops, so the team approves with confidence instead of squinting at every line
- Refactoring toward simplicity — retiring dead code, collapsing duplicate patterns, keeping things legible for both humans and AI
- Making sharp technical calls on architecture, performance, and trade-offs, and knowing which doors only open one way
- Sharing knowledge and raising the bar with your teammates
🌈 What we value in engineers
- Judgment over keystrokes — knowing what's right to ship, not just how to make it run
- Calibrated trust in AI — you use it hard, and you know exactly where not to
- Ownership over the tasks and projects you commit to
- Autonomy with accountability — you don't need hand-holding, but you keep the team in the loop
- Curiosity and continuous learning, with a bit of healthy weirdness
🛠 Our current toy box
AI-assisted tooling (Claude Code) • React • Python • Django Web APIs • PostgreSQL • Redis • AWS • OAuth • Webhooks • GitHub • Notion • Slack • Figma
This is not a strict checklist. Curiosity and learning speed matter more than ticking every box.

And tell us one quick story: a time an AI agent failed you on real work — what broke, and what you changed so it never happened again. That tells us more than any CV ever could.
