Crimson Global Academy · Wellington, New Zealand ·
Senior Software Engineer building global virtual education platforms, including student/parent apps and school infrastructure. The role involves full-stack development with a focus on backend and infrastructure using React, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Terraform.
Crimson Academies is a global education organisation delivering high-quality, live, real-time learning to ambitious students around the world. With over 1,000 students joining us from 65 countries, our vision is to unlock our students' limitless potential, together, for extraordinary futures.
Our engineering team builds the systems that make a global virtual education organisation actually work: the student and parent app and backend, internal sales and marketing tools, school operations infrastructure, and our public-facing digital platforms.
Our engineers sit close to the product, close to the people using it, and close to the impact. We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who's genuinely excited by the difference good software can make to a child's education and who's ready to help us raise the bar on what we ship and how we ship it.
You'll work at a senior level across our backend and infrastructure, contribute to architectural decisions, and help shape the technical direction and engineering culture of the team.
Every family that chooses Crimson Academies is trusting us with something irreplaceable. Engineering owns the platforms that make our global education experience possible: the code you ship reaches students and families around the world, every day.
If you want senior-level work with real impact, on a team that holds itself to a high bar, we'd love to hear from you.
