Software is a team sport. The core of this team was hand-picked from Austin's rich SaaS startup ecosystem five years ago. Our charter is focused on building insights and AI agents for Cisco IQ, the Customer Experience flagship product — an AI-powered digital interface that transforms how customers and partners interact with Cisco's services. While some of our 40-person team is distributed, this Senior Software Engineer role is based in Austin alongside the bulk of the team. You'll find a home here if you value the craft of well-built software, appreciate working alongside excellent engineers, and know how to learn something new from your peers.
As a Senior Software Engineer on one of our scrum teams, you'll own meaningful, highly visible work in Cisco IQ. You'll design solutions alongside technical leaders and principal engineers who will push your thinking — and you'll have the opportunity to do the same for the more junior engineers who will look to you for technical guidance and mentorship. This is a team where ownership leads to greater ownership. The product we’re building is experiencing rapid adoption, so the work you do will land in customer’s hands and make an impact on Cisco.
At Cisco, we’re revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era – and beyond. We’ve been innovating fearlessly for 40 years to create solutions that power how humans and technology work together across the physical and digital worlds. These solutions provide customers with unparalleled security, visibility, and insights across the entire digital footprint.
Fueled by the depth and breadth of our technology, we experiment and create meaningful solutions. Add to that our worldwide network of doers and experts, and you’ll see that the opportunities to grow and build are limitless. We work as a team, collaborating with empathy to make really big things happen on a global scale. Because our solutions are everywhere, our impact is everywhere.
We are Cisco, and our power starts with you.
