Senior Snowflake Architect with AI Data Platform Expertise

We are looking for a Senior Snowflake Specialist who can assess a broader data ecosystem, define strategic initiatives, and provide hands on guidance for platform architecture and optimization. You will work in a stakeholder facing role with the opportunity to lead discovery activities, challenge assumptions, influence technical direction, and present recommendations to leadership.

The client is headquartered in California, USA. The engagement starts with a full time onsite period of 4 to 8 weeks in California, followed by a part time commitment of approximately 20 hours per week. Candidates should have a valid B1/B2 or Tourist visa, as a work visa is not required for this engagement. Travel includes the initial onsite period in California, with additional travel to client locations, including Europe, potentially required based on project needs. This is a senior level position designed for experienced professionals who can combine strategic consulting with hands on technical leadership.

You will contribute to a data platform initiative centered on Snowflake, data lake or lakehouse architecture, and strategic platform improvement. The project also includes stakeholder discovery, leadership presentations, and defining practical AI and GenAI initiatives across the broader data ecosystem. Project nickname: Data Platform Strategy

• Assess the overall data ecosystem and data platform strategy
