Senior SharePoint & Front-End Developer (Consultant)

World Food Programme in Rome, Italy seeks a SharePoint and Front-End Developer consultant to design, develop, and maintain secure, accessible digital solutions for OIG. You will create modern SharePoint sites, SPFx web parts and responsive UIs, integrating with Microsoft 365 and Graph.

Collaboration with auditors and investigators is essential for delivering compliant, scalable tools. The role requires strong front-end skills, governance awareness and the ability to translate complex

Design, build, configure and maintain modern SharePoint Online sites, hubs, pages, lists, libraries, permissions and navigation. Develop custom SPFx web parts and extensions, reusable React components. Develop responsive, accessible front-end interfaces using React and modern web tech. Design workflows and integrations with Power Automate and Power Apps. Prepare test plans, deployment plans and documentation. Provide knowledge transfer and user support. At least three years of progressively responsible professional experience in SharePoint and web application development. Hands-on experience with SPFx, TypeScript, React, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS. Experience designing responsive, accessible front-end interfaces. Experience in international organisations, the United Nations system, or multi-country environments is an asset.
