About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Analyst to lead complex security investigations, mentor junior analysts, and drive strategic improvements across our security program. This is a high-impact role for a seasoned professional who combines deep technical expertise with the ability to influence security direction at an organizational level.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and manage end-to-end incident response for high-severity and complex security incidents
· Perform in-depth analysis of compromised systems, malicious artifacts, and attack infrastructure
· Develop, maintain, and continuously improve incident response playbooks, detection rules, and SOC processes
· Mentor and coach junior and mid-level analysts; conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and tabletop exercises
· Partner with engineering and DevSecOps teams to improve security architecture and reduce attack surface
· Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies; lead proof-of-concept assessments
· Prepare executive-level briefings and detailed technical reports on incidents, threat landscape, and security posture
· Represent the security team in cross-functional projects, audits, and regulatory reviews
· Track threat intelligence trends and translate findings into actionable defensive measures
Required Qualifications
· 6+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in incident response or threat analysis
· Expert-level proficiency with SIEM, EDR, SOAR, and threat intelligence platforms – Palo Alto Cortex, Splunk
· Deep knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework, kill chain methodology, and adversary emulation
· Strong experience with digital forensics (memory, disk, network) and malware analysis (static and dynamic)
· Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, KQL, or similar)
· Demonstrated experience leading incident response efforts in enterprise environments
· Excellent communication skills, including the ability to brief technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
· Certifications such as CISSP, GCIA, GCFE, GCIH, OSCP, or equivalent
· Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container/Kubernetes environments
· Background in red team or purple team operations
· Prior experience building or maturing a SOC function
