A senior program manager will lead a major SAP S/4HANA transformation program for a large Australian organisation, taking it from early mobilisation through implementation to go-live. Day to day this means establishing governance, managing workstreams, vendors and system integrators, and driving scope, risk, testing, cutover and business readiness as a hands-on delivery leader.
About the opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager / Program Delivery Manager to lead a major SAP S/4HANA transformation program for a large Australian organisation.
The program is at the early mobilisation stage, providing an opportunity for an experienced delivery leader to establish the foundations for successful execution and take ownership of delivery across a complex enterprise environment.
This is a highly visible transformation requiring strong leadership across business, technology, vendors and system integrators.
The role
You will provide end-to-end program leadership, working closely with senior business and technology stakeholders to establish governance, manage delivery dependencies and drive the program through its key implementation stages.
You will be expected to be a hands-on delivery leader who can operate strategically with executives while remaining close enough to the detail to identify issues, remove blockers and keep delivery moving.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end SAP S/4HANA transformation program.
- Establish and maintain program governance, reporting and delivery cadence.
- Drive program mobilisation, planning and execution.
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Coordinate multiple workstreams, delivery teams and external partners.
- Manage system integrators and third-party vendors.
- Lead senior stakeholder and steering committee engagement.
- Drive migration, testing, cutover and go-live planning.
- Ensure business readiness and transition to BAU.
- Manage interdependencies across business, technology, data, integration and change.
- Provide clear executive-level reporting on progress, risks and delivery outcomes.
- Identify delivery blockers and proactively drive resolution.
- Ensure the program remains aligned to business outcomes and transformation objectives.
Contract
- 2-year engagement
- Location: Sydney, NSW
