Senior QA Engineer - Core Service

About the role

• The Core Services team supports complex workflows, integrations, and data-driven decision-making, requiring a strong focus on reliability, scalability, performance, and user experience. Its core functionalities include Organization & User Management, Authentication & Authorization, and Billing & Subscription Management.
• As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a key role in advancing quality engineering practices across the Core Services solutions area. You will design and scale test automation frameworks, improve product testability, and partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure high-quality releases.

• This role requires strong technical expertise, a quality-first mindset, and the ability to influence engineering decisions through collaboration, data-driven insights, and modern automation practices. You will help drive the adoption of scalable quality engineering approaches, mentor other QA engineers, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering organization.

What you'll do

• Drive Quality Excellence: Contribute to the evolution of QA and quality engineering practices within the organization. Identify opportunities to improve testing effectiveness, release reliability, and development efficiency through automation, process improvements, and better quality visibility.
• Leverage AI-Enhanced Quality Engineering: Evaluate and adopt AI-assisted tools and practices that improve test design, automation development, defect analysis, and engineering productivity. Contribute to initiatives that increase testing efficiency while maintaining engineering rigor and quality standards.
• Partner Across Teams: Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to influence feature design, acceptance criteria, and implementation decisions that improve testability and product quality.
• Promote Shift-Left Quality Practices: Engage early in the software development lifecycle by collaborating closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to influence feature design, acceptance criteria, and implementation decisions that improve testability and product quality.
• Ensure Comprehensive Test Coverage: Develop and implement test strategies that balance automated and exploratory approaches across regression, integration, end-to-end, performance, and reliability testing.
• Improve Quality Outcomes: Drive measurable improvements in automation coverage, regression execution efficiency, defect prevention, release confidence, and overall product quality.
• Lead Incident and Defect Management: Investigate complex defects, perform root-cause analysis, and provide actionable insights to engineering teams. Partner with stakeholders to prioritize and resolve quality issues efficiently.
