Senior QA Automation Engineer (Mobile)

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to strengthen automated testing for a banking client’s mobile applications. You will build reliable test coverage, improve automation frameworks, and work closely with developers and product teams to deliver high-quality mobile banking experiences.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain automated tests for iOS and Android applications using WebdriverIO, Appium, and TypeScript.
• Extend the mobile automation framework with reusable components and maintainable test code.
• Design end-to-end, regression, and smoke tests covering critical banking journeys and edge cases.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve execution speed, stability, and reporting.
• Investigate failures using device logs, API responses, and debugging tools; reduce flaky tests.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA colleagues to prioritise coverage and assess release readiness.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in QA automation, including hands-on testing of mobile applications.
• Strong practical experience with WebdriverIO and Appium, including framework development and maintenance.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, with the ability to write clean, reusable, and well-structured test code.
• Experience testing iOS and Android applications on real devices, emulators, and simulators.
• Experience with REST API testing, Git, and CI/CD, alongside strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in Agile teams, and the ability to take ownership of testing activities.

Salary range - from 4500 EUR to 5500 EUR monthly (gross).
