Senior Python Developer AWS - Front Office

Overview

In this role you will design and build high-performance trading systems and cloud infrastructure to support front, middle, and back-office operations. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex needs into scalable technology and lead projects from design to deployment. You’ll champion DevOps, automation, and cloud architecture to improve engineering capabilities and system resilience. This position offers a pathway to influence critical trading workflows while working in a cross-functional, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance high-performance trading systems and cloud infrastructure
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Lead projects from design through deployment
• Build secure, highly available systems handling large market and trading data
• Promote engineering best practices, automation, DevOps and cloud architecture
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the team’s technical capabilities
• Own the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle

Key requirements

• Advanced backend Python development
• Strong knowledge of AWS, DevOps practices, CI/CD, containerisation
• Willingness to perform occasional front-end work
