Developing and operating across North America, EMEA and Asia Pacific, Vantage has evolved data center design in innovative ways to deliver dramatic gains in reliability, efficiency and sustainability in flexible environments that can scale as quickly as the market demands.

Position Overview

Vantage is looking for a driven Senior Project Manager to play a key leadership role within the Construction team, leading the delivery of large-scale data center construction projects from conception through commissioning. This role will be based in Hong Kong and will primarily support the successful close-out and delivery of the TPE11 project, alongside broader APAC regional initiatives as required.

This position is responsible for managing complex and highly technical construction projects, overseeing both internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment across Sales, Operations, Development, Engineering, Procurement, Commercial, and Critical Operations teams. The role will be responsible for construction projects that involve customer integration and requires excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills to navigate changing requirements while balancing commercial, operational, and schedule impacts.

Collaboration and integration across the construction lifecycle are integral to the role. Coordination and translation of requirements from Vantage’s internal subject matter experts, external consultants, contractors, suppliers, and global customers ensures long-term operational sustainability is preserved while driving optimized construction delivery. The Senior Project Manager will oversee end-to-end delivery of construction and capital expenditure works, including project planning, contractor management, procurement coordination, commercial oversight, project controls, customer-facing communication, issue resolution, and executive reporting.

This is a high-visibility role that provides the opportunity to shape Vantage’s project delivery standards and operational excellence across the APAC region.

Essential Job Functions

Oversee large-scale, complex data center construction projects from conception through commissioning, including utility interfacing, budgets, schedules, procurement strategies, ECI coordination, and construction execution.
• Stakeholder Management and Customer Integration: Manage stakeholder expectations and customer integration requirements across internal leadership teams, external consultants, contractors, suppliers, and global customers. Support customer-facing activities, including project updates, stakeholder engagement, issue resolution, change control communication, and executive reporting to ensure end-user satisfaction.
• Project Controls and Administration: Manage consulting deliverables and ensure alignment with project objectives, milestones, and governance requirements. Supervise in-house Quantity Surveyors (QS) and oversee commercial administration activities including contracts, progress claims, variation management, certificates, and related documentation. Monitor and report on project budgets, timelines, risks, forecasting, and critical milestones to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
• Contractor and Vendor Management: Manage contractors, consultants, suppliers, and vendors to ensure performance, compliance, and alignment with project objectives. Oversee logistics, procurement coordination, and site delivery activities to support project schedules and operational readiness, while driving accountability across external delivery partners.
• Safety and Compliance: Act as a visible safety leader, fostering a culture of safety, security, and environmental responsibility across in-house teams, contractors, and delivery partners. Ensure compliance with all local authority requirements, health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and Vantage policies throughout project execution.

Collaborate closely with regional and global stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery standards, operational readiness, and delivery excellence in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with exposure to global customers and technically complex infrastructure challenges.

• Support contract negotiations, procurement strategies, and commercial reviews to ensure quality, cost, schedule, and delivery objectives are achieved.
• Identify, track, and pursue opportunities to innovate design, de-risk programme delivery, manage budget exposure, improve project quality, and maintain operational sustainability.
• Lead and coordinate internal teams, external consultants, contractors, vendors, and delivery partners through the design, construction, commissioning, and handover of data centers.
• Work with internal legal counsel and procurement to prepare, review, and support revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

• Manage stakeholder expectations and customer integration requirements, ensuring effective change control, timely issue resolution, and clear alignment between customer needs, project delivery constraints, and operational readiness.
• Ensure timely resolution of issues and deficiencies and develop contingency plans to recover project cost and schedule slippage when appropriate.
• Ensure proper and complete handover of completed works to Vantage operations teams and relevant customer stakeholders.
• Maintain regular liaison with MEP consultants, Engineering teams, power authorities, and relevant technical stakeholders to support correct design and implementation of utility and power requirements.
• Participate in a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, accountability, and delivery excellence.
