• Manage project risks and opportunities, ensuring appropriate actions and controls are in place.
• Effectively manage project change, including variations and claims, ensuring changes against the project baseline are recorded and controlled.
• Support the Project Director in delivering against key business KPIs, including revenue, cash and EBIT.
• Monitor project performance and provide clear, concise and relevant reporting to senior business leaders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Support and develop less-experienced Project Managers through coaching and guidance.
• Oversee effective project launch and closure activities.
• Work collaboratively across Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering and other business functions.

About You

We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:

• Experience leading large, multidisciplinary teams.
• Effective leadership across complex, multi-site organisations.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills, including working with customers, partners and suppliers.

• Strong commercial, financial and business acumen.
• Experience in project planning, scheduling, estimating, budgeting and resource management.
• Strong knowledge of project governance, risk and opportunity management and change control.
• The ability to provide clear and succinct project performance information to senior leaders.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to investigate and understand cost variances.
• Experience working across business functions, with an understanding of commercial management, finance and supply chain.
• Experience effectively managing project launch and closure.
• The ability to coach and develop Project Managers and wider project team members.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and motivational skills.
