Senior Product Manager leading regulatory licensing digital platforms for Singapore's National Environment Agency within GovTech. Day to day: owning the end-to-end product lifecycle, roadmaps, user research, and stakeholder collaboration with engineering, design, legal, and policy teams in an Agile environment.

The Sustainability & Environment Cluster (SEC) is a part of GovTech's Government Digital Transformation team, where we support the Ministry of Sustainability & Environment and its statutory boards — such as National Environment Agency — by developing digital solutions for weather and climate, public health, sustainability, and environmental protection.

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Lead / Senior Product Manager to lead our Regulatory licensing product team. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of the regulatory licensing platform. The Lead Product Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation, ensure market fit, and deliver exceptional value to our business customers.
[What you will be working on]
- Strategic Vision and Leadership: Develop and articulate a compelling product vision and strategy aligned with the agency’s overall goals. Lead the product team to achieve this vision.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Roadmap Development: Create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that prioritizes features and enhancements based on business impact, customer feedback, and market demand.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the product development process.
- Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) or OKRs to measure product success and inform decision-making. Use data-driven insights to make informed adjustments to the product strategy.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as the voice of the customer within the organization. Ensure that customer needs and feedback are integrated into product planning and development.
- Innovation and Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive product evolution.
- Mentor other product managers: Provide guidance and leadership to fellow product managers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration while developing strategic thinking capabilities across the product team.
- Track product performance: Monitor and analyse product metrics and user feedback to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs, enabling data-driven decisions for product improvements.
[What we are looking for]
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of managing successful products and mentoring other product managers.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with agile methodologies and product management tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
