Sr. Product Manager, Platform & Strategic Partnerships

At Rectangle Health, we believe that our team members are our most important asset. We grow our team by hiring best-in-class talent. We encourage all employees to contribute their individual talents and ideas to strengthen our team, our brand, and our services. We promote a culture that serves to empower and motivate employees beyond the standard corporate rhetoric one might see on motivational posters. Employees understand their individual roles in serving our customers, and this clarity of purpose encourages high job performance.

About the Role:

Rectangle Health is seeking a Product Manager to help shape and scale a strategic healthcare payments platform developed in collaboration with a leading national financial services organization.

This is not a traditional product management role.

While you'll partner closely with a dedicated Rectangle Health engineering team to deliver product capabilities, your success will depend equally on your ability to operate across organizational boundaries and influence outcomes within a complex partner ecosystem.

The most successful candidates are those who can establish credibility, build relationships, and influence decisions across organizations with different priorities, objectives, and constraints.

What You'll Do:

• Own strategic product initiatives from discovery through delivery and measurement, including working with internal engineers, UX designers, and business stakeholders through typical SDLC activities.
• Partner daily with internal and external stakeholders to align priorities, drive execution, and remove delivery obstacles.
• Represent Rectangle Health's healthcare payments expertise in joint roadmap planning, solution design, and prioritization discussions with the partner organization.
• Influence partner product and engineering teams to make investments that improve the overall platform experience.
• Lead initiatives involving onboarding automation, integrations, data synchronization, operational scalability, platform resiliency, and customer experience improvements.
• Drive alignment across cross-functional teams spanning Product, Engineering, Operations, Customer Success, Delivery, and strategic partners.
• Define success metrics and use data and customer feedback to continuously improve outcomes.

What Makes This Role Unique:

Most Product Managers focus on building features within a single organization, but this role is different.

You'll help orchestrate a complex partnership ecosystem where success depends on aligning multiple independent teams, systems, and priorities around a shared customer experience. You'll leverage Rectangle Health's deep healthcare payments expertise while helping influence the evolution of a growing platform through close collaboration with a major strategic partner.

We're Looking for Someone Who:

• Builds credibility quickly and earns trust across teams with different priorities and objectives.
• Has a track record of creating alignment and driving execution across complex stakeholder groups.
• Is comfortable navigating ambiguity, organizational complexity, and competing priorities.
• Communicates effectively with engineers, product leaders, executives, and external partners.
• Balances diplomacy with conviction and knows when to advocate strongly for customer and business outcomes.
• Has the systems-thinking mindset to connect disparate teams, products, and processes into a cohesive customer experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Product Management experience.
• Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional product initiatives involving multiple teams, systems, and stakeholders from concept through production.
• Experience driving product outcomes through external partnerships, customers, or third-party platform providers.
• Ability to participate meaningfully in technical discussions involving APIs, integrations, workflows, data synchronization, and platform architecture.
• Ability to travel (~5-10%), typically 2-3 days every other month.
• Living in the continental US with authorization to work in the US

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preference for candidates local to our HQ in White Plains, NY to support in an onsite capacity.
• Experience in healthcare technology, healthcare payments, fintech, revenue cycle management, or adjacent industries.
• Experience working with platform ecosystems, marketplaces, or integration-heavy products.
• Consulting experience, particularly in client-facing environments requiring influence and stakeholder management.
• Experience with onboarding automation, implementation workflows, or operational scalability initiatives.

Compensation & Benefit Profile:

• $130,000 – $160,000 annual total compensation (commensurate with experience)
• Competitive Medical Health Plans, Low, Mid, High.
  • Employer Paid Low Medical Plan for Employee & Dependents (HSA Eligible)
