Senior Product Manager – Pricing and Personalization

About the role

We are looking for an exceptional Senior+ Product Manager who is "AI-native" to build and lead the intelligence and reconciliation backbone of HTS for the Flights, Hotels, Cars, and Ancillaries segments.

This role is responsible for the systems that define pricing intelligence, supplier performance reporting, and the "financial truth" across millions of travel transactions. You will design and scale model-driven infrastructure that continuously interprets transactional data, generates reference pricing, detects performance changes, reconciles financial flows, and ensures revenue integrity in real time.

This is a foundational role at the intersection of marketplace economics, machine learning, and financial systems. You will collaborate closely with data science and engineering teams to put predictive models into production, define evaluation frameworks, and ensure our intelligence systems are measurable, adaptive, and reliable.

What your day-to-day will look like

• Strategy and roadmap: Drive the end-to-end strategy for pricing intelligence, supplier performance, and financial reconciliation for all travel segments.

• Reference pricing architecture: Design pricing systems using predictive modeling, elasticity signals, and real-time anomaly detection.

• Supplier intelligence: Transform transactional data into automated performance signals and pricing diagnostics.

• Financial data governance: Establish and manage the single source of truth for revenue, margins, take rates, transactions, and cancellations.

• Model lifecycle: Design model evaluation, monitoring, and feedback frameworks, including drift detection.

• Cross-functional execution: Collaborate with engineering, data science, finance, and commercial teams to deliver production-grade infrastructure integrated with models.

An ideal candidate:

• 5+ years of product management experience, including responsibility for AI-native products and model-driven systems in production.

• Hands-on experience: Ability to write prompts, design evaluation tests, or prototype with LLMs/foundation models in your workflow (not just overseeing others).

• AI lifecycle management: Proficiency in problem definition, signal design, evaluation metrics (e.g., precision/recall trade-offs), monitoring frameworks, and retraining strategies.

• Large-scale systems: Experience in deploying predictive systems, anomaly detection platforms, or automated decision-making infrastructure.

• Technical skills: Proficiency in SQL and massive transactional datasets.

• Business expertise: Experience with pricing systems or financial reporting platforms.

• Communication: Exceptional ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.

Bonus points:

• Prior experience in data science, engineering, or a highly technical role.

Experience in travel commerce, fintech, advertising, or other high-transaction marketplace environments.

This position requires proficiency in French and English. The successful candidate will be required to communicate and collaborate regularly with colleagues, managers, clients, suppliers, and business partners located outside of Quebec, as well as consult, prepare, and use documentation, systems, and communications in both French and English. Knowledge of English is therefore necessary for the performance of the duties associated with the position and to meet operational requirements and client needs in an international business environment.

Perks and benefits of working with us:

• Growth and equity: A solid startup with global ambitions. Competitive salary and benefits related to stock options (pre-IPO).

• Health and protection: Hopper covers 100% of the premiums for the group insurance plan (including life insurance and short- and long-term disability).

• Health Spending Account (HSA): Covers your eligible medical and dental expenses.

• Telemedicine: Unlimited access to Dialogue services for you and your dependents, anywhere and at any time.

• Retirement savings: Access to an RRSP plan with automatic pre-tax deductions on every paycheck.

• Family: An ultra-generous parental leave, well above industry standards. Let's talk about it!

• Total flexibility: Unlimited paid time off (PTO).

• Travel: Travel allowance in "Carrot Cash".

• Workspace: On-demand access to co-working spaces via FlexDesk AND a work-from-home allowance.

• Entrepreneurial culture: An environment where pushing boundaries and taking risks is part of everyday life.

• Proximity: Open communication with management and company leadership.

• Impact: Small, dynamic teams for a massive impact.

About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional, AI-native Senior+ Product Manager to build and lead the intelligence and reconciliation backbone of HTS across Flights, Hotels, Cars, and Ancillaries.

This role owns the systems that define pricing intelligence, supplier performance reporting, and financial truth across millions of travel transactions.

You will design and scale model-driven infrastructure that continuously interprets transactional data, generates reference pricing, detects performance shifts, reconciles financial flows, and governs revenue integrity in real time.

This is a foundational role at the intersection of marketplace economics, machine learning, and financial systems. You will partner deeply with Data Science and Engineering to productionize predictive models, define evaluation frameworks, manage model lifecycles, and ensure intelligence systems are measurable, adaptive, and trusted.

The work you do will directly shape partner economics, supplier transparency, and HTS’s global commerce platform.

What would your day-to-day look like:

• Own the end-to-end strategy and roadmap for pricing intelligence, supplier performance intelligence, and financial reconciliation across all travel verticals.

• Architect and evolve reference pricing systems leveraging predictive modeling, elasticity signals, competitive benchmarking, and real-time anomaly detection.

• Build the supplier intelligence layer, transforming transactional data into automated performance signals, demand insights, and pricing diagnostics.

• Establish and govern the canonical source of truth for revenue, margin, take rate, transactions, and cancellations across systems and partners.

• Design model evaluation, monitoring, and feedback frameworks, including drift detection and continuous improvement mechanisms.

• Implement automated reconciliation and anomaly detection systems to proactively surface financial inconsistencies at scale.

• Drive cross-functional execution across Engineering, Data Science, Finance, Commercial, and Supply to deliver production-grade, model-integrated infrastructure.

An ideal candidate has:

• 5+ years of Product Management experience, including ownership of AI-native products and model-driven systems in production. You have built and scaled systems where AI is foundational to product behavior — not an additive feature.

• Hands-on experience writing prompts, designing evaluation harnesses, or prototyping with LLMs/foundation models as part of their PM workflow (not just overseeing others doing it)

• Demonstrated experience operating as an AI-native PM, with hands-on ownership of model lifecycle management including problem framing, signal design, evaluation metrics (e.g., precision/recall tradeoffs, forecasting accuracy), monitoring frameworks, drift detection, and retraining strategies.

• Experience shipping predictive systems, anomaly detection platforms, automated decisioning infrastructure, or model-driven pricing systems at scale.

• Strong fluency with SQL and large-scale transactional datasets.

• Experience owning pricing systems, financial reporting platforms, marketplace intelligence tools, or reconciliation frameworks.

• Deep understanding of marketplace economics, revenue mechanics, and pricing strategy.

• Track record of delivering complex, cross-functional systems with measurable business impact.

• Exceptional communicator able to operate effectively across technical, financial, and commercial stakeholders.

Bonus:

• Prior experience in Data Science, Engineering, or a highly technical role.

• Background in travel commerce, fintech, ads, or other transaction-heavy marketplace environments.
