Senior Product Manager

Who We Are:

Every industry has a moment when technology finally catches up to the people doing the work.

We are building that moment for legal.

Neostella creates connected legal technology that brings together the data, workflows, and systems legal teams rely on every day.

Our platform helps firms move faster, collaborate more effectively, and focus on delivering stronger outcomes for their clients.

We believe the legal industry deserves more from its technology. That belief drives us to challenge the status quo and build systems designed for the way modern teams actually work.

We build with courage and measure our work by the impact it creates for our customers.

Recognized as one of Forbes’ Best Startup Employers in the Americas for 2026, we are growing with people who want their work to matter.

If you want to build software that changes how an industry operates, you belong here. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Product Manager to join our team!

Why this role matters right now:

Neostella is building software that helps legal teams manage complex, high-volume casework with greater efficiency, visibility, and control. As our platform continues to grow, the way firms structure, migrate, and interact with their data becomes increasingly critical to customer success.

This role exists because data is at the center of every customer experience. A firm's ability to successfully migrate information from legacy systems, customize data structures to fit their workflows, and access meaningful insights directly impacts adoption, satisfaction, and long-term retention. We need a Product Manager who can navigate highly technical challenges, think strategically about data architecture, and translate complexity into intuitive solutions.

As a Senior Product Manager within our Data group, you'll help shape the foundation that powers our platform. Your work will directly influence how customers onboard, how implementation teams operate, and how quickly firms realize value from Neostella.

What you'll manage:

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager who will own key areas of our Data product group, with a primary focus on data migration, transformation, and mapping capabilities.

You will be responsible for the tooling that enables implementation teams, partners, and customers to move data from external systems into Neostella efficiently, accurately, and at scale. This includes defining how data is mapped, transformed, validated, and imported while ensuring the experience remains approachable for non-technical users.

In addition to migration tooling, you'll contribute across broader Data initiatives including schema customization, search capabilities, reporting functionality, and platform-wide data management experiences.

This role requires a rare combination of technical depth, product judgment, and systems thinking. You'll partner closely with Engineering, Implementation, Customer Experience, and external integration partners to solve complex data challenges while balancing usability, scalability, and business impact.

What you bring:

We're looking for a Product Manager who thrives in highly technical environments and enjoys solving abstract, data-centric problems. You understand how software systems are built, can communicate effectively with engineers and business stakeholders alike, and have experience managing products where complexity is the norm rather than the exception.

You are comfortable working with data models, APIs, transformation logic, integrations, and platform architecture. More importantly, you're able to translate technical complexity into clear product direction, thoughtful prioritization, and practical solutions that deliver customer value.

You operate independently, make informed decisions with imperfect information, and bring a strong sense of ownership to everything you build. You ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and continuously seek opportunities to improve both the product and the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

You'll own product strategy, execution, and outcomes across Neostella's Data platform, with a primary focus on migration and transformation tooling:

Product Strategy & Roadmap Management

• Own and manage the roadmap for Data group initiatives, prioritizing features that improve migration efficiency, data quality, and platform adoption
• Define product vision and strategy for data transformation, mapping, and import tooling
• Balance competing priorities across migration capabilities, schema customization, search, reporting, and broader Data initiatives
• Drive features that accelerate customer onboarding and time-to-value

Data Migration & Transformation

• Design and improve tooling used by implementation teams and partners to map, transform, validate, and import data
• Define workflows that support multiple source systems, varying data structures, and complex transformation requirements
• Partner with Engineering to build scalable solutions that accommodate evolving customer needs
• Monitor migration success rates, data quality outcomes, and implementation feedback to identify improvement opportunities

Technical Product Leadership

• Translate complex technical requirements into clear product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Navigate highly abstract product challenges involving data models, integrations, APIs, transformation logic, and platform architecture
• Partner closely with Engineering teams to evaluate trade-offs, constraints, scalability considerations, and implementation approaches
• Ensure solutions balance technical flexibility with usability and customer experience

Partner & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work with external integration and connector partners to understand requirements and support partner development workflows
• Collaborate with Customer Experience, Implementation, Product, and Engineering teams throughout discovery, design, and delivery
• Facilitate alignment across stakeholders on priorities, requirements, and product direction
• Communicate product decisions, roadmap updates, and business impact clearly across technical and non-technical audiences

Product Analysis & Continuous Improvement

• Analyze customer feedback, migration outcomes, usage data, and operational metrics to guide product decisions
• Identify recurring implementation challenges and opportunities for automation or simplification
• Continuously improve documentation, requirements quality, and product development processes
• Leverage data-driven insights to prioritize enhancements and improve platform effectiveness

Requirements

• 5+ years of Product Management experience in a technology company
• Experience managing technical, platform, infrastructure, or data-intensive products
• Strong understanding of data models, APIs, integrations, ETL processes, transformation logic, and system architecture
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements
• Experience writing product specifications, managing backlogs, and prioritizing competing initiatives
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Understanding of software development lifecycles, technical constraints, and architectural trade-offs
• Ability to work independently and drive outcomes with minimal oversight
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Professional-level English proficiency (written and spoken)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with data migration platforms, ETL pipelines, or integration products
• Experience building tooling, platform products, or developer-facing solutions
• Legal technology, financial technology, or highly regulated industry experience
• Experience supporting external partner ecosystems or third-party integrations
• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based architectures
• Python or other programming experience
• Experience mentoring Product Managers or supporting team development
