ABOUT US:
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager – AI & Sports Data to join our Live Data division at Sportradar. This role lives at the heart of what makes sports data powerful – you will be the person who connects real-world sports movements and on-field performance with our AI-driven product suite to create tangible value for the betting industry.
Your top priority will be ensuring that Sportradar's strategic investments in AI-powered sports data capabilities translate into measurable commercial outcomes. You will own the product strategy for key AI betting products, driving them from technical innovation to market-ready offerings that exceed client expectations.
As part of the Live Data organisation, you will serve as a critical bridge between AI development and business impact. You will define roadmaps in collaboration with AI engineers and data scientists, champion quality and delivery across the full product lifecycle, and work closely with global stakeholders including major US sports leagues and federations.
THE CHALLENGE:
- Define and own the product vision and roadmap for AI-powered betting products.
- Identify commercial opportunities where AI capabilities can create differentiated value for Sportradar’s betting clients.
- Work closely with the AI team on a daily basis, attending standups, planning sessions, and design reviews, to maintain deep technical understanding and ensure product-market alignment. Given the global nature of the role, some flexibility around European working hours will be required to effectively collaborate with US-based partners and stakeholders.
- Develop, analyse, and evolve product KPIs in collaboration with internal stakeholders across AI, Live Data, and commercial teams.
- Translate complex AI outputs into clear product narratives and value propositions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Assess data quality, model performance, and product reliability to drive continuous improvement
- Predict and measure the business impact of AI product deliveries, building cases for investment and prioritisation.
- Coordinate cross-functionally between AI engineering, Live Data operations, QA, and go-to-market teams to ensure smooth product launches.
- Oversee the overall landscape of AI-driven opportunities for Live Data, proactively proposing new product concepts and enhancements across rule-based analytics, simulation-driven predictions, and foundation model-powered products.
- Help offload operational and product-related tasks from the AI team, allowing them to focus on core technical delivery.
- Drive quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement of product processes and deliverables.
ABOUT YOU:
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in data-intensive or AI/ML-driven product environments.
- Strong understanding of the sports betting industry, including trading, odds compilation, in-play markets, and related data products.
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical AI/ML concepts into commercial product opportunities.
- Experience working closely with engineering and data science teams in agile environments.
- Interest in AI product development approaches, including rule-based systems, predictive modelling, simulations, and foundation models.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to define KPIs, interpret model outputs, and make data-driven decisions.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills – comfortable presenting to both technical teams and senior leadership.
- Comfortable working in a global environment and collaborating with stakeholders across European and US time zones.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-oriented mindset.
- Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning products, or sports data platforms is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI) and basic SQL knowledge is advantageous.
OUR OFFER:
- A collaborative environment with colleagues from all over the world (Engineering offices in Europe, Asia and US), including various social events and teambuilding.
- Flexibility to manage your workday and tasks with autonomy.
- A balance of structure and autonomy to tackle your daily tasks.
- Vibrant and inclusive community, including Women in Tech and Pride groups which welcome all participants.
- Global Employee Assistance Programme.
- Calm and Reulay apps (leading well-being apps designed to support focus, quality rest, mindfulness, and long-term mental resilience).
- Online training videos.
- Flexible working hours.
While we appreciate the flexibility and benefits of working from home, we strongly believe that coming together in person fosters stronger connections, encourages collaboration, and drives innovation—both as individuals and as a company. The energy, shared ideas, and team support we experience in the office strengthen the foundation of our success and culture. For this reason, we are an office-first business operating on a fully on-site model, with team members working in the office five days a week to build relationships, exchange ideas, and grow together. Certain exemptions may apply depending on location — your local point of contact can provide further details.
OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS:
- Initial Screening: A quick chat with our Talent Acquisition Partner to understand your background and expectations.
- Online Interview: An online conversation with the Hiring Manager to discuss your overall fit for the role and product management experience.
- Onsite Interview: An in‑person interview with team members, including a technical discussion and a conversation to assess team fit.
- Final Interview: A final discussion to align on open topics, clarify mutual expectations, and determine next steps. If successful, this is followed by an offer.
