Senior Power Platform Developer

SimplifyNext is a Singapore-headquartered digital engineering firm, with offices in Thailand and Malaysia, working across three converged areas: agentic AI, AI-enabled application modernisation, and intelligent automation.

We bring strong business process consulting together with deep technology skills and modern delivery practices – product-centric, agile and AI-assisted. We build bespoke applications and AI systems, and we go deep on the platforms our clients run on, including Microsoft, AWS, ServiceNow, Databricks and UiPath. That combination of engineering depth and platform depth is what our clients come to us for.

We build and modernise the systems people depend on daily. Our 300+ practitioners are multi-disciplinary by design – business consultants, software engineers, architects, AI engineers and designers working on the same delivery, not handing off between silos. We focus on delivering outcomes for clients, building strong careers for our people, and staying ahead of the technology curve. We hire because we are growing. At SimplifyNext, we’re committed to building a team of curious, driven, and forward-thinking individuals who care deeply about creating meaningful impact through technology. If you’re excited by the opportunity to grow, collaborate, and shape the future of digital transformation across the region, we’d be happy to hear from you.

As a Power Platform Developer at SimplifyNext, you will be a core contributor in our delivery team - designing and building enterprise-grade solutions for our clients across Singapore and the region. This is not a maintenance role. You will take ownership of complex builds, bring your technical depth to client engagements, and grow toward a Solutions Architect track through structured mentoring and exposure to real enterprise challenges.

Solution Design & Delivery

• Architect and build enterprise-grade solutions using the full Power Platform stack - Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse
• Design scalable, secure, and performant solutions aligned to client requirements and SimplifyNext delivery standards
• Take end-to-end ownership of complex builds from scoping through to deployment and handover

Integration & Innovation

• Implement deep integrations with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure services, and third-party systems via APIs and custom connectors
• Build AI-powered workflows and intelligent apps using Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and Azure OpenAI
• Stay current with the Microsoft product roadmap and bring relevant capabilities into client solutions

Quality & Governance

• Apply and contribute to SimplifyNext's governance frameworks, environment strategy, and deployment automation
• Champion ALM and DevOps best practices, including automated testing and structured release management
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise-grade quality bars on security, performance, and maintainability

Client Engagement & Collaboration

• Engage directly with client stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Work within Agile delivery frameworks, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with UI/UX and business analysis colleagues to deliver solutions that are both functional and intuitive

Mentoring & Practice Building

• Support and guide junior developers within the team, sharing knowledge and upholding delivery standards
• Contribute to internal capability building, reusable assets, and Power Platform community initiatives

What You Will Bring

• Strong proficiency in Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven apps), Power Automate, and Dataverse
• Proven track record delivering Power Platform solutions for enterprise clients
• Experience with integration patterns using REST APIs, custom connectors, and Microsoft 365 / Azure services
• Solid understanding of ALM practices, environment management, and solution deployment
• Agile delivery experience in a consulting or client-facing project environment
• Strong stakeholder communication skills - able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
• Singaporean Citizen or Permanent Resident (this role is based in Singapore and we are prioritising local applicants)

⭐ Good-to-Have

• Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-200, PL-400, or PL-600)
• Hands-on experience with Copilot Studio, AI Builder, Power Automate Desktop (RPA), or Power Pages
• Familiarity with Azure services relevant to Power Platform (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure OpenAI)
• Prior exposure to public sector or regulated industry delivery
• Experience mentoring junior team members in a delivery context

This Role Is Not for You If…

🚫 Please Note

• You are looking for a role that stays within simple, template-driven app builds - we expect you to push the boundaries of what the platform can do
• You prefer to work in isolation - this is a highly collaborative, client-facing delivery environment
• You are not open to structured feedback and mentoring - growth here is deliberate and requires active engagement
• You are unwilling to work toward Microsoft certifications - we invest in your credentials and expect the same commitment
