You will play a crucial role in:Designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Platform, including Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and DataverseTranslating business and functional requirements into scalable, maintainable, secure, and reusable Power Platform solutionsDesigning and implementing automated workflows and business processes using Power AutomateDeveloping and configuring Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, forms, views, and security modelsIntegrating Power Platform solutions with SharePoint Online, Dataverse, SQL Server, Microsoft 365, REST APIs, and other enterprise data sourcesDeveloping and deploying advanced Power Platform components using JavaScript, C#, Power Platform plug-ins, Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) controls, and custom APIs, as applicableConfiguring and implementing role-based security for Power Platform applications and DataverseSupporting Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), including solutions, environment variables, connection references, and deployments across development, test, and production environmentsSupporting Power Platform pipelines and other automated deployment processesTroubleshooting, optimizing, and maintaining existing Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Power Pages sites, and Dataverse solutionsPerforming unit and integration testing and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) and production deploymentsDeveloping technical documentation and supporting solution knowledge transferCollaborating with business analysts, administrators, architects, security teams, and stakeholders throughout the solution development lifecyclePresenting technical concepts and solution designs to both technical and non-technical audiencesProviding technical guidance and knowledge support to end users and junior staffWhat You'll Need To SucceedBring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Senior Power Platform Developer must have:Education: BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field required6+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications using Microsoft Power PlatformHands-on experience developing solutions using Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and DataverseExperience developing and supporting enterprise-scale Power Platform solutionsRequired SkillsStrong proficiency with Microsoft Power Apps, including Canvas Apps and Model-Driven AppsStrong proficiency with Power Automate for workflow and business process automationExperience developing and configuring Power Pages and Dataverse solutionsExperience with Power Platform development and administration toolsExperience integrating Power Platform solutions with Dataverse, SharePoint Online, SQL Server, Microsoft 365, REST APIs, and other enterprise data sourcesExperience developing custom components using JavaScript, C#, Power Platform plug-ins, PCF controls, and custom APIsExperience implementing role-based security within Power Apps and DataverseExperience with Power Platform Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), including solutions, environment variables, connection references, and deployment across development, test, and production environmentsFamiliarity with Power Platform pipelines and automated deployment practicesAbility to troubleshoot and optimize Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Power Pages, Dataverse solutions, and integrationsUnderstanding of Power Platform security, connectors, authentication, and integration patternsWorking knowledge of SharePoint Online and its integration with Power Apps and Power AutomateFamiliarity with Agile development methodology and working within an Agile development teamAbility to translate business and functional requirements into robust, scalable, secure, and reusable technical solutionsAbility to communicate and present technical concepts to individuals with diverse technical backgrounds and job responsibilitiesExcellent communication skillsAbility to thrive in a dynamic environmentAbility to provide technical guidance and knowledge support to junior staffWillingness to stay current on Microsoft Power Platform capabilities and emerging technologiesRequired Certification(s)Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900)Security Clearance Level: Must be able to pass a background check to obtain a position of Public Trust
