The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of experience in EPC project planning, with strong expertise in Primavera P6, integrated scheduling, progress forecasting, and project controls.
Our Project Monitoring and Control capabilities reflect our dedication to proactive project management, providing unmatched visibility, accountability, and quality control in every phase of project execution.
What You’ll Lead and Deliver
- Develop and maintain integrated, resource-loaded, and cost-loaded project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, aligned with contractual milestones and project execution strategies.
- Coordinate schedules across engineering teams, consultants, procurement, fabrication subcontractors, construction, and commissioning.
- Review consultant and subcontractor schedules, validate progress updates, track engineering deliverables, and ensure alignment with approved baselines.
- Develop manpower plans and resource forecasts, identify constraints, and recommend adjustments to support project execution.
- Establish progress measurement systems and integrate schedule, cost, and man-hour data for earned value and performance analysis.
- Analyze critical paths, schedule variances, and project trends; forecast completion dates and proactively identify risks and potential delays.
- Develop and monitor recovery plans, including schedule resequencing and resource adjustments, to protect contractual milestones.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, S-curves, look-ahead schedules, and performance dashboards using advanced Excel and Power BI.
- Assess schedule impacts of scope changes and disruptions, supporting delay analysis and extension-of-time submissions in coordination with Project Management and Commercial teams.
- Maintain project baselines, revisions, progress records, and reporting documentation through SharePoint or approved project collaboration platforms.
Requirements
To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in planning, scheduling, and project controls for EPC projects, including structural fabrication.
- Proven experience managing integrated project schedules from engineering and procurement through fabrication, construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Experience coordinating in-house engineering teams, consultants, procurement, and subcontractors, including deliverable tracking and schedule reviews.
- Working knowledge of structural fabrication milestones and their interfaces with engineering, procurement, inspections, and delivery.
- EPC experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or industrial projects is preferred.
- PMI-SP, PMP, or an equivalent planning or project management certification is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, advanced Microsoft Excel, and Power BI, with working knowledge of SharePoint and project collaboration platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM), S-curves, resource and cost loading, earned value management, schedule risk assessment, recovery planning, and delay analysis.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, bills of quantities, contractual milestones, and project controls requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Strong ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple project priorities, meet reporting deadlines, and proactively escalate risks.
