Airwallex is the AI-native financial operating system for a real-time, intelligent economy. More than 675,000 businesses, including McLaren Racing, Qantas, SHEIN, and TikTok, use us, directly or through our platform partners, to run their financial operations or build and monetize financial products of their own.
We started in Melbourne in 2015 to build the infrastructure global commerce runs on. We're the regulated backbone behind global payments: not by accident, but by design. A decade plus, 85+ licenses, and a financial infrastructure spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
We're co-headquartered in San Francisco and Singapore, with more than 2,300 people across 27 offices. We hire builders with founder-level energy, people who move fast with good judgment, dig in with real curiosity, and make calls from first principles rather than waiting to be told what to do. Read our operating principles to see it in full.
Airwallex’s corporate network needs to remain secure, reliable and scalable as our global footprint grows. You’ll own critical network infrastructure and help shape the systems, practices and team capabilities that support our people across regions.

Configure and operate global connectivity across international leased lines and domestic internet connections, working across mixed-vendor environments.
Lead the configuration and troubleshooting of routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers and wireless access points.
Own CorpNet as a first responder and escalation point for complex network incidents, taking issues through to resolution and completing after-action reviews.
Partner with CorpSec, ProdSec, Engineering, Product, IT Engineering, Workplace and other teams to integrate network solutions and support business initiatives.
Work with IT Engineering and IT Support to troubleshoot endpoint network issues and build core networking capability across the team.
Use infrastructure-as-code and automation, including Terraform and Ansible, to improve network consistency and operational efficiency.
Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations and operational procedures.
Evaluate networking technologies and solutions that support Airwallex’s continued growth.
Mentor and coach network engineers, share knowledge, support skill development, manage performance and help attract strong talent.

Engineering at Airwallex is for people who want to define a category, not maintain one. We're reimagining how businesses interact with finance from the ground up, AI- and agent-native by default, think agent wallets, agentic bookkeepers, and spend-management autopilots, with APIs designed for agents as first-class users. The hard part is trust: building agent-native systems precise enough to move real money autonomously, on top of a decade of real infrastructure. This is a team for engineers who'd rather own an unsolved problem than inherit a mature one. If you want frontier problems, teammates who raise your standards, and a genuine clean slate on world-class infrastructure, this is the place to build it.
