Ocho People | Technology Recruitment
Why This Organisation
Our client is a global digital engineering services organisation that has been building high quality software for growing companies in regulated and data intensive industries since 2009. With a presence across multiple geographies and a track record of delivering complex, mission critical products, this is a business that takes engineering craft seriously and invests in the people who do the same.
The culture is one that rewards engineers who care about good design and architecture, who take pride in writing clean, well tested code and who want to work alongside other people who hold themselves to a high standard. There is no bureaucracy for the sake of it here. The expectation is that you do great work and the environment is built to support that.
If you are a senior .NET engineer who wants to work on genuinely complex systems, in a team that values your technical judgement, from wherever you do your best work, this is worth considering.
The Role and What It Can Do For Your Career
This is a Senior Software Engineer position with a clear emphasis on design, architecture and engineering quality. You will be building and maintaining enterprise grade systems on the .NET and Azure stack, contributing to architectural decisions, creating frameworks for other engineers to leverage and working across multi tenant SaaS architectures in a fast paced, iterative environment.
What makes this role valuable for your career is the level at which you will be operating. This is not a role where you inherit someone else's technical decisions and execute against them. You will be refining functional requirements, developing technical specifications, generating architectural documentation and contributing directly to the design of systems that matter. A test driven development mindset is expected and the codebase reflects that standard.
The tech spans .NET Core and Azure, NoSQL databases including Cassandra and Cosmos DB, REST and SOAP APIs, queue based systems including RabbitMQ, Kafka and Event Hub, relational databases including Oracle and SQL Server, and Agile delivery using Scrum. The breadth of that stack combined with the architectural focus of the role builds the kind of experience that travels well.

Why You Should Apply Now
Senior .NET roles with genuine architectural scope, a test driven culture and the flexibility of fully remote working are not as common as they should be. This is a well established global organisation that takes engineering quality seriously and gives its senior engineers the space to operate at the level the title implies.
Salary up to £55,000. Fully remote.
