Senior Marketing Manager - SEA

Position Overview

We're looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead marketing across ZURU Edge's Southeast Asia portfolio: four verticals (Baby, Pet, Beauty and Confectionery) across six markets (Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam). This is a senior role with real commercial accountability. You'll report to both the Global Marketing Director, Baby Vertical and the South East Asia Director, and lead the SEA Marketing team.

About ZURU

ZURU is a reimagination company. We look for categories that have stood still, then we build next-generation products and brands that set the new standard. ZURU Toys is reimagining play. ZURU Edge is reinventing everyday consumer brands. Rhodes Pet Science is reimagining pet science. ZURU Tech is leading the next building revolution.

ZURU started in 2003 with two brothers from New Zealand, and we're still founder-owned and operated today. Since then we've become the world's second-biggest privately held toy company, and nearly half of all Gen Y and Gen Z households with kids in the US own a ZURU product. Today we're 5,000 people in 34 offices, selling into more than 150 markets, backed by over 100 acres of fully automated manufacturing. And we're only getting started.

Position Impact

Rascals, Millie Moon and Hey Tiger have grown fast across Southeast Asia, and our Pet, Beauty and Confectionery brands are next. Baby is the biggest part of this role given how big those brands have become in key markets, and alongside it you'll build Pet, Beauty and Confectionery into strong growth engines. Brand health, consumer marketing and SEA business performance count as one goal here, so your marketing decisions show up directly in sales. You'll lead a regional team of Community Managers, Designers and Influencer & Brand Activation Coordinators, and be the main link between our SEA markets and the global marketing team.

How you'll help us grow

• Own brand and business performance, treating brand health, consumer marketing performance and SEA business results as one accountability

• Lead consumer marketing and brand building for Millie Moon, Rascals and Hey Tiger across SEA, partnering with the Global Marketing Director and supporting commercial teams on retailer partnerships and exclusivity deals

• Lead consumer marketing for Bonkers and Mr Purrs as they scale, including new launches like Green Gorilla dog toys and Silver Service premium cat food

• Lead consumer marketing for MONDAY, BEING Haircare and DAISE, including retailer partnerships and launches

• Lead go-to-market and consumer marketing for GumiYum Surprise as it rolls out across Thailand, the Philippines and Singapore

• Manage and develop Community Managers, Designers and Influencer & Brand Activation Coordinators, and be the main link between SEA markets and the global marketing team

• Own influencer and partner strategy across all four verticals, from finding the right partnerships to getting the most out of them for launches and seasonal campaigns

• Lead PR across SEA and oversee events, sampling and grassroots marketing

• Own regional digital and e-commerce marketing performance, working with performance marketing to run campaigns across social and e-commerce platforms

• Own the regional marketing budget across all four verticals, and manage the Global Digital team and regional agencies so every campaign is briefed, delivered and measured against brand and commercial goals

What Helps You Win Here

• 6+ years in marketing, including leading marketing across several brands or categories. FMCG, baby, pet care, beauty or personal care experience is ideal, and a degree in Communications, Marketing or a related field is preferred

• A track record of tying brand and consumer marketing to commercial results, not just brand building

• Strong people leadership: you've managed, developed and grown marketing teams across multiple markets

• Strong commercial sense, and you're comfortable using performance data, budgets and P&L impact to make marketing decisions

• Experience running a varied portfolio of brands at different stages, and deciding where resources and budget go to grow the whole portfolio

Who thrives at ZURU

This isn't a 9-to-5. We move fast, think big and set goals most companies would call impossible, then go after them. The people who thrive here are entrepreneurs at heart. They own their work, chase bold ideas and never stop raising the bar.

At ZURU, you drive your career, and we give you the platform to take it as far as you can. There are opportunities here that you won’t find anywhere else, and you'll be surrounded by talented people who make things happen. We're a true meritocracy: we reward impact, not tenure.

How we work

Big ideas happen when great people work side by side, so we're office-first by design. Being together means faster collaboration, sharper decisions and stronger teams, and it's where the real learning happens. Some flexibility may be available depending on the role, location and business needs, but most roles are office-based.
