Senior Marketing Manager

Location: San Francisco, California, or Seattle, Washington

Availability: Full-time. Hybrid schedule, with a minimum of 2 days/week on-site at your local LNW office and up to 3 days/week remote.

The Opportunity

LNW has the ingredients of a powerful brand: a compelling origin story, genuinely differentiated capabilities, and client relationships built on decades of trust. What it needs now is the marketing leadership to activate those ingredients consistently and carry them into the market.

This is a build role at an inflection point. The brand positioning is being sharpened. The firm is returning to flagship client events. The next generation of wealth is arriving. And the marketing infrastructure (such as measurement, CRM hygiene, lifecycle management, vendor accountability, content planning) is earlier in its development than the ambition requires. The incoming Senior Marketing Manager will spend meaningful time in year one on foundation work: validating the ideal client profile, establishing operational systems, and building the measurement framework that connects marketing to business outcomes. The events, thought leadership, and brand work are the reward for getting the foundation right, not a substitute for it.

What You Will Do

Brand Execution

• Translate LNW's brand positioning and messaging framework into consistent, compelling execution across all channels and audiences: existing clients, prospective clients, Centers of Influence, and internal teams.
• Ensure brand consistency across every touchpoint, including digital, events, email, website, content, and internal communications. Serve as the day-to-day steward of LNW's voice and identity.

Community Events

• Own the communications and promotion strategy for LNW's full events portfolio: flagship client events, sponsored industry events, and third-party conferences.
• Develop event copy, email invitations, save-the-dates, landing pages, social content, and post-event materials.
• Partner with the Director of Community on logistics and with the Fractional CMO on series-level strategy and positioning.

Educational Workshops & Opportunities

• Support the design and execution of programs that help the next generation understand and navigate wealth, help client families manage complexity across generations, and build LNW community.
• Develop programming communications that educate clients on LNW's capabilities (impact investing, legacy planning, trust creation) in a format that builds community rather than sells services.

Relationship Building

• Champion the intentional cultivation of deep, lasting bonds across LNW's entire ecosystem: clients, employees, Centers of Influence, and community partners who share the firm's values.
• Build internal credibility with Wealth Managers and practice leads so that marketing becomes a resource the whole firm actively uses, not a function that operates in parallel to client relationships.

Thought Leadership

• Own production, calendar management, compliance routing, and distribution for LNW's content program and advisor-facing content.
• Execute against the editorial direction set by the Fractional CMO. Ensure content is published consistently, on schedule, and reviewed through the appropriate compliance process.
• Execute the PR amplification workflow when placements land: coordinate LinkedIn posts, website updates, email mentions, and internal communications in a single coordinated step. Partner with the PR consultant on materials and timing.

Demand Generation and Growth

• Execute marketing programs that support client retention, deepening, and acquisition, with particular focus on the next generation of UHNW clients and Centers of Influence.
• Manage lifecycle marketing programs in partnership with the CRM agency and BD team. Support COI outreach through materials, content, and targeted touchpoints.
• Ensure deep partnership/collaboration with the growth team, providing consistency in approach and alignment across effort.

Digital and Marketing Operations

• Partner with the Fractional CMO to manage agency relationships across web, paid media, email / CRM, and creative production.
• Own website content updates, Marketo operations, and email program execution.
• Build and maintain a marketing performance dashboard tracking website visits, email CTR, leads by source, event attendance, and pipeline contribution.
• Oversee the marketing technology stack in day-to-day operations.

Team and Vendor Leadership

• Support day-to-day coordination with external agency partners across paid media, email / CRM, website, and creative production in partnership with the Fractional CMO.
• Operate within vendor relationships that the Fractional CMO holds at the strategic level, ensuring agency deliverables are on brief, on time, and consistent with brand standards.
• This is a high-level overview of the role’s duties, which may increase and vary based on business needs.

What We Are Seeking

Experience

• 6 to 10 years of marketing experience, with meaningful time in financial services, wealth management, or an adjacent regulated industry.
• Demonstrated experience executing brand and marketing strategy across multiple channels simultaneously.
• Experience managing external agencies and coordinating with internal teams.
• Familiarity with the UHNW or family office client segment is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with CRM (Salesforce), marketing automation (Marketo), and digital analytics tools.

Skills

• Strong execution discipline: you can manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, and vendors without losing quality or brand consistency.
• Enough brand instinct to apply a positioning framework correctly without needing direction on every decision.
• Comfort working in a relationship-driven culture where trust is built slowly and marketing must earn its seat at the table.
• Proficiency in marketing operations: you know how lifecycle programs work, what good email execution looks like, and how to read a performance dashboard and act on it.
• Exceptional written communication skills. You can write in a firm's voice, not just your own.
• Comfort operating with a degree of ambiguity during a build phase; you can prioritize without a perfect playbook.

Who You Are

• You execute with the brand in mind, not just the deadline.
• You are organized enough to manage a content calendar, an event schedule, and multiple agency relationships simultaneously without dropping anything.
• You understand that in wealth management, the brand is the relationship, and you treat every client-facing touchpoint accordingly.
• You are energized by building processes, programs, and infrastructure; not just maintaining what exists.
• You take direction well and know the difference between owning execution and overstepping into strategy.
• You are a master at collaboration, investing in the team and your collective success.

Candidates must meet all relevant employment qualifications at time of hiring, including (1) passing the background and credit checks successfully, along with any pre-employment exams; (2) signing all employee agreements; and (3) having the ability to consistently and effectively perform the job’s essential functions, duties, and responsibilities.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $160,000 to $175,000 in San Francisco and $152,000 to $166,000 in Seattle (i.e., reporting to SF or SEA as your home LNW office at least 2 days per week). This salary range applies to the current posting and may change in the future based on factors such as education, job-related knowledge, experience, skill set, and location.
