About us

Kustom was born in 2024 in Stockholm, Sweden, when Klarna Checkout became so successful it earned a life of its own. Since then, we’ve grown into one of Europe’s leading checkout solutions, with a team of more than 100 people all driven by the same mission: giving every business the checkout it deserves.

We believe the best solutions aren't built in isolation. Kustom gives merchants the freedom to shape their own checkout by connecting to a growing network of 100+ partners. We handle the complexity behind the scenes, making sure every shopper enjoys the best possible experience. That way, growth happens freely, without compromises or closed loops.

Today, Kustom serves more than 24,000 merchants across 170 markets and has converted more than 25 million shoppers.

The role

As Senior Marketing Manager, you will take ownership of a broad range of marketing initiatives across Kustom. This is a senior, individual contributor role. You should be as comfortable developing the strategy as doing the hands-on work needed to bring impactful work to life.

You will work both strategically and hands-on to turn ideas and priorities into compelling, high-impact marketing. You will collaborate across the business, develop joint initiatives with partners and lead cross-functional project teams.

In your first year, you will have established a repeatable approach to integrated go-to-market planning, led several high-priority launches or campaigns, strengthened Kustom’s merchant proposition and demonstrated measurable contribution to commercial growth.

• Lead integrated campaigns and product launches from planning through execution.

• Shape product narratives and compelling merchant propositions.

• Define target audiences, segmentation, customer journeys and channel plans.

• Develop joint initiatives with Sales, Product, Merchant Operations and strategic partners.

• Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate in-house specialists, PR agencies and freelancers.

• Measure performance, using customer and market insights to improve results.

Skills and experience you'll need

• 6–8 years of broad marketing experience, ideally within B2B, SaaS, fintech, payments or another technology-driven industry.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management or a related field.

• A strong track record of delivering impactful integrated campaigns, product launches and go-to-market initiatives.

• Exceptional ability to work independently, manage significant responsibility and execute with speed and precision.

• Strong commercial and analytical skills, with the ability to turn insights into clear recommendations.

• Strong creative judgment and experience directing creative, PR or communications work.

• Excellent communication skills in English, Swedish is an advantage.

We believe you'll thrive in this role if you

• Enjoy a high-intensity, fast-changing environment where priorities shift and plans evolve quickly.

• Are naturally inclined to contribute wherever the team and the business need you most, even if that goes beyond your immediate responsibilities.

• Are equally comfortable shaping strategy and rolling up your sleeves to execute.

• Genuinely enjoy working across disciplines, from product lifecycle and positioning to campaigns, partner marketing and PR.

Benefits

• Secure your future with a competitive pension package, including both national and occupational pension contributions.

• Comprehensive health coverage with extensive health insurance, long-term illness protection, and flexible salary exchange options.

• Invest in your wellbeing with an annual wellness allowance of 3,000 SEK to spend on the activities that keep you healthy and energized.
