Senior Marketing Executive

Brand strategy and positioning

Define what the brand stands for — its mission, values, personality, and unique selling proposition. This includes identifying the target audience, analyzing competitors, and deciding how the brand should be positioned in the market relative to rivals.

Brand identity management

Oversee the visual and verbal identity: logo usage, color palettes, typography, tone of voice, and messaging guidelines. Ensure every touchpoint (packaging, ads, website, social media) stays consistent with brand guidelines.

Marketing and campaign execution

Plan and run campaigns across channels — digital, social, print, events, influencer partnerships. This involves briefing creative agencies, coordinating with media buyers, and making sure campaigns align with the brand's positioning and business goals.

Market research and consumer insights

Track consumer behavior, preferences, and perceptions through surveys, focus groups, social listening, and sales data. Use these insights to refine strategy and spot opportunities or threats early.

Budget management

Allocate and manage the marketing/brand budget, negotiate with vendors and agencies, and justify spending with measurable returns.

Performance tracking

Monitor KPIs like brand awareness, brand equity, market share, engagement rates, and campaign ROI. Report results to senior management and adjust plans based on what the data shows.

Cross-functional collaboration

Work with product teams, sales, PR, legal, and external agencies to keep everyone aligned on the brand's direction — for example, ensuring new product launches fit the brand story.

Reputation and crisis management

Protect the brand's image by monitoring public sentiment, responding to negative press or social media issues, and having crisis communication plans ready.

Innovation and growth

Identify opportunities for brand extensions, new markets, partnerships, or repositioning as consumer trends shift.

In short: a brand executive is the guardian and growth driver of the brand — keeping it consistent, relevant, and profitable.
