WYperformance is a marketing automation and CRM agency specialising in lifecycle strategy and execution across multiple platforms and industries, including regulated sectors such as pharma. We help our clients turn data into relevant, timely communication at scale — and we do it as an extension of their teams, not just as a vendor.
We're hiring a Marketing Automation Specialist to take ownership of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) operations for a portfolio of pharma clients. This is a senior, hands-on role: you'll need to be operational in SFMC from day one and quickly become the go-to owner for these accounts, while also contributing to how we structure, document and improve our processes as a team.
You'll join at a moment of transition in the team and will be expected to ramp up fast, build trust with clients directly, and bring order and ownership to the fronts you run, without needing much hand-holding.
SFMC Operations & Data
- Own end-to-end SFMC operation for assigned clients: data extension creation, database upload/update, data extraction, and segmentation.
- Build and activate customer journeys, and perform simple HTML adjustments to email templates.
- Send and review test communications to ensure accuracy before deployment.
- Design, update and share periodic performance reports, covering the key KPIs for each action.
- Run assertiveness testing (A/B tests, pilot actions) to validate audience and messaging decisions.
Strategy & Consultative Role
- Act as a consultative partner to clients — designing strategic and tactical recommendations, not just executing briefs.
- Define communication and segmentation strategy based on mapped results and client needs.
- Design customer lifecycle journeys and implement actions relevant to each lifecycle stage.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Be the friendly, reliable interface with clients on a day-to-day basis, managing multiple accounts in parallel.
- Interface proactively with internal partner teams to keep work moving.
- Communicate potential problems proactively, and come to the table with a recommended solution — not just the issue.
Day-to-Day & Process Ownership
- Control and manage the progress of ongoing activities, keeping demands organised and on track.
- Build and actively manage schedules, following up on tasks to ensure adequate delivery timelines.
- Define and manage priorities, analysing impact and proposing practical, viable alternatives.
- Identify and route incoming requests appropriately.
- Document activities, delivery status, and processes in a way that's accessible to the team.
- Ensure quality across all client-facing communication.
Requirements
- Solid hands-on experience operating Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) — journeys, data extensions, segmentation, and campaign builds.
- A fast learner who can quickly absorb what needs to get done and start owning it — minimal ramp-up time expected.
- Strong process and organisational instincts: comfortable structuring ambiguous or messy workstreams into something manageable.
- Track record of managing multiple clients or workstreams simultaneously.
- Confident, proactive communicator, comfortable interfacing directly with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience with pharma clients or regulated-industry marketing (not mandatory, but a strong plus).
- Familiarity with other marketing automation or CRM platforms (HubSpot, Veeva, e-goi, Zoho).
