Are you a Senior Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys turning complex manufacturing challenges into practical, high-performance production solutions?

Axiom Group Inc. is looking for an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our Engineering team and take a leading role in developing advanced automotive assembly and automation solutions.

This is an opportunity to work on projects involving robotics, automation, machine vision, controls, automated material handling, inspection, functional testing, traceability, and connected manufacturing systems.

If you enjoy taking a concept from feasibility → equipment design → supplier development → validation → production launch → continuous improvement, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do

As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will:

• Lead manufacturing feasibility and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews for new products, engineering changes, transfers, and capacity expansions.
• Develop manufacturing strategies for complex automotive assemblies, including process flow, assembly sequence, automation level, material flow, inspection, testing, traceability, and error-proofing.
• Develop and validate manual, semi-automated, and fully automated assembly processes.
• Lead the development and integration of multi-station automated assembly systems.
• Work with robotics, automated material handling, machine vision, sensing, controls, inspection, functional testing, and data acquisition.
• Develop cycle-time, line-balance, labor, capacity, equipment, layout, and capital requirements.
• Lead RFQs, equipment specifications, technical scopes of work, acceptance criteria, and supplier deliverables.
• Manage equipment suppliers through concept, design, build, FAT, installation, SAT, capability studies, run-at-rate, and production handoff.
• Lead manufacturing engineering activities during new program launches and major process changes, working closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Automation, Maintenance, Tooling, Molding, Purchasing, and suppliers.
• Develop and maintain APQP and IATF 16949 documentation, including process flows, PFMEAs, control plans, error-proofing plans, work instructions, capability studies, and engineering-change documentation.
• Lead continuous-improvement initiatives focused on automation, equipment reliability, cycle time, labor optimization, quality, capacity, and material flow.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to junior and plant-level Manufacturing Engineers.
