Day to day: security monitoring and compliance, network/firewall management, vendor and budget oversight, and mentoring IT teams.
Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities (THKMC) is seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Manager/Manager, Enterprise IT & Cybersecurity to join our Digital Innovation & Technology (DIT) team. This role is responsible for leading enterprise IT operations, cybersecurity, infrastructure, end-user support, and technology projects that enable and protect the organisation's digital environment.
Key Responsibilities
IT Operations, Infrastructure & Asset Management
Lead the management and continuous improvement of THKMC's IT infrastructure, networks, systems, and cloud services.
Oversee Helpdesk operations to ensure timely and effective IT support for users across the organisation.
Manage the lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, inventory control, and disposal.
Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of enterprise IT services.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, policies, and controls to safeguard organisational systems and data.
Lead security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and threat mitigation activities.
Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity, governance, and data protection requirements.
Project Delivery & Digital Transformation
Lead and deliver IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital transformation projects from planning through implementation.
Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, risks, vendors, and stakeholder communications.
Identify and drive technology improvements that enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and user experience.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Lead, mentor, and develop the Helpdesk, Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity teams.
Manage departmental budgets, resources, and service performance.
Partner with business stakeholders to align technology initiatives with organisational objectives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, ITIL, PMP, or CITPM would be advantageous.
Minimum 5 years of experience in network management and helpdesk operations.
Demonstrated track record in vendor management, procurement, and budget oversight.
Strong technical expertise in network protocols, firewall configuration, and Cybersecurity frameworks and protection practices.
Strong experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, helpdesk operations, and project management.
Proven team leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with senior executive leadership.
Strong problem-solving abilities and clear communication, including translating complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Results-oriented mindset with the ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational delivery.
Willing to support critical incidents, project implementations, and maintenance activities outside normal office hours when required.
Advanced knowledge in the following areas would be preferred:
Cybersecurity frameworks and network protection practices.
Firewall configuration, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint protection tools.
Familiarity with industry compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, PDPA, NIST).
