• Lead and oversee high‑impact Employee Relations cases, including senior‑level grievances, investigations, disciplinary and whistleblowing matters, particularly those with enterprise, reputational or precedent‑setting considerations.

• Act as a senior escalation point within the Employee Relations CoE, offering governance, quality assurance and oversight to support confidence, consistency and sound decision‑making.

• Lead or contribute to organisation‑wide Employee Relations programmes and initiatives, including organisational change, redundancy and transformation activity involving multiple stakeholders.

• Partner with colleagues across the People Function, Legal and the business to design, review and embed Employee Relations frameworks, policies and ways of working.

• Use data, insight and technology to identify themes, emerging risks and opportunities for improvement across Employee Relations activity.

• Build constructive, professional relationships with senior stakeholders, supporting informed decisions and appropriately challenging approaches that may introduce legal, regulatory or cultural risk.

• Produce clear, balanced and accessible written outputs, including outcome communications, senior briefings and risk assessments for complex or sensitive matters.

What you’ll bring

• Experience operating at a senior level within Employee Relations, with practical application of UK employment law in complex environments.

• Current knowledge of UK employment law and contemporary Employee Relations practice.

• Experience managing complex or high‑risk Employee Relations matters end‑to‑end, including senior‑level or organisation‑wide cases.

• Experience supporting organisational change, restructuring or business transformation activity.

• Confidence using data, insight and digital tools (including AI) responsibly to support Employee Relations casework, identify trends and inform decision‑making.

• Clear and inclusive communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues, influence decisions and support others through challenging topics.

• Sound judgement, with the ability to consider colleague experience, organisational impact and risk in a balanced way.

• Ability to analyse patterns in Employee Relations activity and translate this into practical, forward‑looking recommendations.

• Experience working with trade unions or employee representative bodies in a UK context.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in complex settings and engage constructively with differing views.

• A collaborative approach, with a focus on partnership, learning and continuous improvement.

What you’ll get in return

An opportunity to work within a global Employee Relations Centre of Excellence, contributing to the development of inclusive, consistent and forward‑looking Employee Relations practices that support colleagues, leaders and the wider organisation.
