We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven Customer Lifecycle Marketing Manager to build and own the lifecycle marketing motion for HiBob’s existing customer base.
Your mission is to drive customer growth and expansion by connecting the right customers with the right products, features, and experiences at the right moment in their journey.
You’ll define how we segment, engage, and nurture customers across the lifecycle using product behavior, customer data, and commercial signals to build scalable programs that increase adoption, uncover expansion opportunities, and contribute to Expansion ARR.
You’ll also own the orchestration of customer communications across HiBob, creating a cohesive experience and ensuring we engage customers with relevance and intent. This is a highly cross-functional role at the intersection of Growth Marketing, Customer Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Account Management, and RevOps. You’ll set the strategy and build the operating model, while remaining close enough to execution to turn ideas into measurable programs.
Responsibilities
Build the Customer Lifecycle Strategy- Define and own HiBob’s lifecycle marketing strategy for existing customers, identifying the key moments, behaviors, and signals that should trigger engagement.
- Develop meaningful customer segments based on factors such as product adoption, lifecycle stage, customer profile, engagement, and expansion potential.
- Identify opportunities across the customer journey to increase adoption, deepen engagement, and accelerate customer growth.
Drive Expansion- Build scalable, multi-channel lifecycle programs that generate demand for HiBob’s add-on modules and create qualified expansion opportunities for Account Management.
- Partner with Customer Marketing, AM, CS and Product to define audiences, qualification criteria, signals, and routing for expansion opportunities.
- Continuously identify and test new lifecycle plays based on customer behavior, product usage, and commercial signals.
Accelerate Product & Feature Adoption- Design always-on adoption journeys for strategic modules and features across email, in-app, and other customer touchpoints.
- Partner with Product and Product Analytics to identify adoption gaps, activation milestones, and behaviors associated with customer value and expansion.
- Connect adoption programs to broader commercial outcomes, turning product engagement into a lever for retention and growth.
Orchestrate the Customer Experience- Own the strategic governance and orchestration of lifecycle communications across the customer base.
- Create the frameworks, prioritization rules, frequency caps, and suppression logic that determine which customers receive which communications and when.
- Partner with Customer Marketing, Product, CS, and other teams to balance business priorities with a cohesive and relevant customer experience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS lifecycle, growth, customer, or CRM marketing, with meaningful experience working with existing customers.
- A track record of building lifecycle programs that have influenced expansion, upsell, adoption, retention, or revenue.
- Strong strategic thinking - you can take a broad business objective, identify the customer behaviors and segments that matter, and turn them into a scalable lifecycle strategy.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with customer, CRM, and product usage data to identify opportunities and measure impact.
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, or similar, including segmentation, behavioral triggers, journey logic, and suppression rules.
- Experience with in-app engagement or product adoption platforms such as Pendo, Appcues, Intercom, or similar.
- Strong commercial mindset and understanding of SaaS metrics such as Expansion ARR, NRR, pipeline conversion, adoption, and engagement.
- Excellent cross-functional and stakeholder management skills. You’re comfortable creating structure across teams, aligning competing priorities, and challenging requests when they don’t serve the customer journey.
- Strong customer-centric communication skills and the ability to translate customer insights into compelling lifecycle experiences.
What Success Looks Like?
You’ll have built a scalable lifecycle marketing engine that helps HiBob understand who to engage, with what, and when — turning customer and product signals into meaningful experiences and measurable growth.
Lifecycle marketing will become a strategic growth lever: increasing adoption, creating expansion opportunities, and delivering a more relevant and coordinated experience for HiBob customers.
