Fireworks is the platform for specialized intelligence, enabling companies to build, train, and serve AI models tailored to their own data, workflows, and products. Founded by the team behind PyTorch and backed by AMD, Atreides, Benchmark Capital, Index Ventures, Lightspeed, NVIDIA, Sequoia Capital, and TCV, Fireworks powers production AI with hundreds of state-of-the-art open models across text, image, embedding, audio, and multimodal workloads. Today, Fireworks is a Series D company valued at $17.5 billion, bringing together an ambitious, collaborative team that's building the future of enterprise AI.
We're looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Sr. Manager to build and scale the customer journeys that power Fireworks' growth engine across both product-led and sales-led motions.
This isn't a traditional CRM or email marketing role. It's a strategic growth role focused on delivering the right message, to the right audience, at the right time—whether they're a prospective buyer, self-serve developer, or enterprise customer.
You'll own the strategy and execution of personalized lifecycle experiences across email, in-product messaging, web, AI-powered touchpoints, and sales- and customer success-enabled programs. Working closely with Product, Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, and Data, you'll build intelligent customer journeys that nurture prospects, accelerate product adoption, deepen customer engagement, and drive long-term retention and expansion.
You'll define how Fireworks communicate throughout the customer lifecycle using behavioral data, product usage, account insights, experimentation, and automation to create experiences that feel timely, relevant, and personalized. You'll also build lifecycle systems that continuously improve through AI, customer behavior, and experimentation.
This is a foundational opportunity to build Lifecycle Marketing from the ground up at one of the fastest-growing AI infrastructure companies.
Design and own Fireworks' lifecycle strategy across the entire customer journey—from lead nurture and onboarding through activation, adoption, retention, expansion, and advocacy.
Build scalable lifecycle programs that accelerate pipeline, improve customer engagement, and drive long-term product adoption and revenue growth.
Develop lifecycle frameworks that support both self-serve (PLG) and enterprise (SLG) customer journeys.
Build and optimize always-on nurture programs for net-new prospects, marketing-qualified leads, remarketable audiences, product users, and existing customers.
Create personalized experiences across email, in-product messaging, web, onboarding, product announcements, customer education, and AI-powered touchpoints.
Develop lifecycle messaging and content that is timely, relevant, and personalized based on where customers are in their journey.
Partner closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Growth Marketing to deliver the right message through the right channel based on customer behavior, buying stage, product usage, and account signals.
Build lifecycle programs that help prospects and customers:
Nurture remarketable audiences into qualified pipeline
Re-engage inactive leads and dormant accounts
Successfully onboard new users
Reach activation milestones faster
Discover new models and platform capabilities
Increase product usage and consumption
Adopt additional products and features
Support enterprise sales and expansion opportunities
Improve retention and long-term customer value
Own lifecycle communications supporting product launches, feature releases, GTM campaigns, customer announcements, and other high-impact business moments.
Partner with Product Marketing and Product teams to ensure messaging is timely, coordinated, and aligned across customer touchpoints.
Build a culture of experimentation across nurture campaigns, onboarding, messaging, customer education, and expansion programs.
Design experimentation frameworks that measure incremental business impact, optimize customer journeys, and inform future lifecycle investments.
Continuously improve lifecycle performance through A/B testing, behavioral insights, and data-driven optimization.
Leverage AI to improve personalization, content generation, segmentation, journey orchestration, and lifecycle decisioning.
Build intelligent lifecycle programs that dynamically determine who to engage, when to engage, where to engage, and what message to deliver based on behavioral, product usage, CRM, and account signals.
Evaluate emerging AI capabilities and automation tools that improve customer experience while increasing marketing efficiency.
Partner with Marketing Analytics and Data to establish lifecycle reporting, customer health metrics, and performance dashboards.
Measure performance across lead engagement, nurture effectiveness, activation, adoption, retention, expansion, pipeline influence, and revenue.
Translate insights into recommendations that continuously improve customer experiences and business outcomes.
8+ years of experience in Lifecycle Marketing, Customer Marketing, Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, CRM, or Product Growth within a high-growth B2B SaaS company.
Experience building lifecycle programs across both product-led and sales-assisted customer journeys.
Proven success developing nurture programs, onboarding experiences, customer engagement initiatives, and expansion campaigns that drive measurable business outcomes.
Hands-on experience with modern marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, Braze, , Iterable, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of audience segmentation, lifecycle operations, email best practices, marketing automation, and customer journey orchestration.
Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, Product Marketing, and Analytics.
Strong analytical mindset with experience using experimentation, customer insights, and behavioral data to optimize lifecycle performance.
Excellent communication and content development skills with the ability to translate customer insights into scalable lifecycle strategies.
Comfortable building new systems, processes, and programs in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
Experience at a developer-focused, infrastructure, cloud, or AI platform company.
Experience supporting both PLG and enterprise sales motions.
Experience with product analytics platforms such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap, or similar tools.
Familiarity with AI-powered personalization, agentic workflows, or LLM-driven customer experiences.
