Lead the QA strategy for a browser-based video platform, defining testing processes, integrating AI tools, and mentoring engineers to ensure high-quality live streaming and webinar software.
About the Role:
Our client runs a leading browser-based video platform for live streaming, conferences, webinars, and training, supporting thousands of simultaneous viewers. We’re looking for a Senior/Lead QA Engineer to own QA strategy across the entire product lifecycle — raising quality standards, maturing QA processes, and introducing modern AI-driven testing practices. You’ll partner closely with product, engineering, and design, balancing hands-on testing with strategic ownership.
Requirements
7+ years in QA with a track record of shipping high-quality software
Strong manual, exploratory, and risk-based testing skills
Experience building QA strategy at team or product level
Solid grasp of SDLC and Agile/Scrum
Comfortable with defect tracking/test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.)
Exposure to CI/CD (Jenkins, Maven, or similar) and cloud environments (AWS preferred)
Experience testing web and mobile apps across browsers/platforms
Upper-intermediate+ English
Hands-on use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) for test design, defect analysis, test data, or documentation, plus awareness of AI’s limitations (hallucinations, inconsistency) and how to validate its output
Nice to Have
Experience with AI-powered testing platforms (Mabl, Testim, Applitools)
Test automation exposure, or experience with flaky-test reduction
Familiarity with testing AI/LLM-based APIs
Experience mentoring QA engineers and leading QA initiatives across teams
Responsibilities
Define and evolve QA strategy across the product lifecycle
Build and maintain test plans, cases, and scenarios
Lead functional, regression, exploratory, and integration testing
Own defect lifecycle and quality bug reporting
Partner with engineering, product, and design on acceptance criteria
Bring AI tools into QA workflows to boost efficiency and coverage
Track QA metrics and mentor junior/mid-level QA engineers
What We Offer:
A collaborative, multinational Agile team building a high-scale platform, with real ownership of QA strategy and room to introduce AI-enabled testing
Continuous learning and professional development, working alongside top global players in the tech industry
Hybrid work format, combining remote work with time in our Lviv office
Daily interaction with native English speakers, offering natural, ongoing opportunities to improve your English
18 working days of paid vacation, 10 working days of sick leave, and 11 paid Ukrainian statutory holidays
