Klaviyo is hiring a Senior GTM Architect in San Francisco to own end-to-end architecture of its marketing, sales, and customer success systems (Salesforce-centric) and rebuild them around AI agents, staying hands-on with Apex, LWC, SOQL, integrations, and LLM/agent frameworks. Base salary range: $164K–$246K USD.
At Klaviyo, we value the unique backgrounds, experiences and perspectives each Klaviyo (we call ourselves Klaviyos) brings to our workplace each and every day. We believe everyone deserves a fair shot at success and appreciate the experiences each person brings beyond the traditional job requirements. If you’re a close but not exact match with the description, we hope you’ll still consider applying. Want to learn more about life at Klaviyo? Klaviyo's operational infrastructure, built and managed by our GTM Systems team, powers our GTM engine. We're looking for a Senior GTM Architect, a technical expert with end-to-end understanding of the systems behind marketing, sales, and customer experience, who can reimagine how that system works with an AI-first approach, and who is hands-on enough to build, ship, and de-risk the hardest parts.
About the team
Our GTM Systems team sits at the center of Klaviyo's GTM engine, powering the operational infrastructure that connects marketing, sales, partnerships, and customer success. We build and own the systems that enable our teams to move quickly, trust their data, and focus on what matters most: helping our customers grow. As we scale, we're rebuilding the marketing, sales, and CX stack around agentic AI as the operating model, not a bolt-on experiment.
About the role
As the Senior GTM Architect, you are the domain expert for how Klaviyo's marketing, sales, and customer experience systems work together and how they should work differently once AI agents, not just dashboards and workflows, are doing meaningful parts of the job. You own the architecture across our CRM (Salesforce), marketing automation, sales engagement, data enrichment, and CS/support platforms. You translate ambiguous GTM strategy into system architecture (data models, integration patterns, agentic workflows), drive the roadmap by looking around the corner with GTM leadership, and stay hands-on to build and ship meaningful parts of the solution yourself, not just diagram it from a distance.
Because of the breadth of this remit, you'll regularly present architecture decisions and AI transformation strategy directly to senior GTM, RevOps, and executive leadership, and need to influence outcomes well above your reporting line.

Why this role matters at Klaviyo
This is not a purely strategic, diagrams-only architect role. Klaviyo's GTM Systems function is actively shifting its engineering standard toward pro-code, GitHub-based development and AI-assisted, agentic workflows across marketing, sales, and CX. You'll both set that direction and help build it. Here's what makes it worth your time:
