Do you enjoy turning complex data challenges into scalable, reliable solutions?
Are you passionate about building modern cloud-native data platforms that power analytics, AI, and machine learning products used by millions of customers?
At ING Hubs Türkiye, we're looking for a GCP Data Engineer who wants to build the data foundations behind advanced analytics, intelligent automation, machine learning solutions, and emerging AI products across ING's international network.
You'll work at the intersection of cloud engineering, data platforms, analytics, and AI, helping data scientists, ML engineers, and business teams access trusted, high-quality data at scale.
As a GCP Data Engineer, you will design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms and pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
Your work will directly support AI-driven products, machine learning initiatives, Agentic AI solutions, and advanced analytics capabilities across ING. You'll collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Analytics Engineers, ML Engineers, and Software Engineers to create reliable, production-ready data assets that enable business impact.
The data platforms you build contribute to solutions such as customer intelligence, financial crime detection, risk analytics, automation, and other advanced analytics products used across ING's European operations. Data quality, reliability, and platform performance have meaningful impact on real customer experiences.
At ING Hubs Türkiye, flexibility is more than a benefit — it's part of how we work.
Our hybrid way of working is designed to balance collaboration, innovation, and personal flexibility. Team members typically come together at our Vadistanbul office for two days per week during three weeks of the month, while one week each month is fully remote.
We also offer additional flexibility during the summer period, with remote working opportunities throughout August, allowing colleagues to spend more time where they feel most productive while staying connected to their teams.
As part of a globally distributed organization, you'll collaborate with colleagues across multiple ING locations while contributing to solutions that create impact across the bank.
You will join a globally connected team focused on delivering scalable data solutions across ING.
The team is passionate about innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning, leveraging cloud-native technologies to create reliable and future-ready data products. Together, we enable business value through data, analytics, AI, and emerging intelligent automation capabilities.
You will work in a highly collaborative environment where engineers, data scientists, analysts, and product teams jointly build solutions that power ING's data-driven transformation.
We hire smart people like you for your potential. Our biggest expectation is that you'll stay curious. Keep learning. Take on responsibility. In return, we'll back you to develop into an even more awesome version of yourself.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services such as:
Our current platform is primarily focused on scalable batch-oriented data processing built on PySpark and Airflow within GCP. As our platform evolves, we continue exploring opportunities around event-driven architectures, AI-enabled data products, and modern cloud-native engineering patterns.
Engineers who bring experience with streaming technologies, real-time ingestion, or AI-enabled platforms will have opportunities to contribute to the future direction of our data ecosystem.
Don't meet every single requirement? Don't let that hold you back. Studies show many talented professionals hesitate to apply unless they meet every qualification. If you're excited about this role and believe you can make an impact, we'd love to hear from you.
At ING Hubs Turkiye, we believe that your work should be fulfilling in every way. We pay attention to even the smallest details to ensure that your experience is rewarding. Here's what you can expect when you join our organization:
