About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer / Technical Analyst to support the evolution of a financial data management platform. The role combines backend development with technical and business analysis, focusing on data quality, system integration, and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance backend services, APIs, and data-processing capabilities;
• Analyse technical and business requirements;
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability;
• Integrate the platform with external data providers;
• Design scalable solutions using microservices and cloud-native principles;
• Apply CI/CD, unit testing, and software engineering best practices;
• Collaborate with business users and multidisciplinary technical teams.

Mandatory Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional software development experience;
• Strong experience with Java and Spring;
• Knowledge of Java 21;
• Advanced SQL and PostgreSQL skills;
• Experience developing APIs and microservices;
• Experience with CI/CD and unit testing;
• Hands-on knowledge of Docker;
• Experience with cloud platforms;
• Ability to analyse and translate business requirements into technical solutions;
• Fluent English and availability for hybrid work in Porto.

Nice to Have

• Experience with financial data platforms;
• Knowledge of data quality and external data integrations;
• Basic or intermediate French.
