Builds and optimizes high-performance Java microservices for a fintech platform, focusing on scalable payment systems, APIs, and backend workflows while ensuring security and reliability.
In a world where financial systems are too often outdated, we’re building the infrastructure that makes modern finance feel seamless. We power high-volume, low-latency transactions that help users move, invest, and understand their money — fast and securely.
We’re looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our backend team and build resilient services that scale. You'll work on mission-critical systems with a team that values clarity, performance, and code you’re proud to maintain.
Build and optimize scalable Java microservices powering our core fintech products
Design APIs and backend workflows for secure payments, account management, and financial data
Collaborate with DevOps and frontend teams to deliver smooth, reliable end-to-end features
Contribute to system design decisions and architectural improvements
Write clean, testable, well-documented code — and help set coding standards for the team
Investigate and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues
Stay current on Java best practices and fintech trends
5+ years of experience in backend development with strong Java (Java 11+) expertise
Solid grasp of Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture
Familiar with SQL (PostgreSQL preferred) and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ
Experience with CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
Passion for performance, security, and clean architecture
A team player who’s also self-driven and proactive in solving problems
Experience in fintech or regulated environments
Knowledge of OpenAPI, OAuth2, or distributed systems
Contributions to open-source projects or internal developer tools
Work on systems that handle real money at real scale
Smart, humble teammates and zero micromanagement
Competitive salary, equity options, and performance bonuses
Remote-first culture, flexible hours, and generous time off
Learning budgets, conference passes, and clear growth tracks
