KPIT Technologies Ltd. in Torino seeks an experienced JAVA Software Engineer to develop Java-based backend services for diagnostics and OTA offboard software. You will focus on vehicle diagnostics, telemetry data processing, and cloud-to-vehicle OTA deployment pipelines.

You will build scalable APIs with Java/Spring and contribute to secure software update architectures. The role requires at least five years in automotive backend engineering, strong Java skills, and hands-on experience with

Develop scalable backend services and API architectures using Java/Spring. Implement offboard diagnostics systems to process vehicle telemetry data. Manage cloud infrastructure for secure, reliable offboard OTA updates. Utilize CANoe environments to test backend API interactions with simulated vehicle endpoints. Minimum 5 years in backend software engineering (Automotive domain). Core Java Development: Java, Spring Framework / Spring Boot, RESTful API Design and Development, Microservices Architecture, Maven / Gradle, JUnit, Integration Testing, OOD and Design Patterns Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Containerization (Docker) Kubernetes, CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) Good to have: API Gateway and Service Security
