Senior Information Security Specialist — Flexible Hours & Global Impact

Nikon SLM Solutions AG is seeking a proactive and well-organized Senior Information Security Specialist to oversee information security activities within a regulated industrial environment. You will work with IT, Engineering and Legal teams to drive security initiatives and ensure compliance, while taking ownership of recurring responsibilities.

The role requires strong analytical skills, autonomy, and the ability to communicate security concepts clearly to stakeholders.

First-Level Support: handle security inquiries via ticketing system, triage and coordinate resolution. ISMS Activities: maintain and improve the Information Security Management System, including documentation and policy updates. Supplier Security Assessments: perform and coordinate security assessments of suppliers and third parties. Stakeholder Collaboration: work with IT, Engineering, Legal, Procurement to raise information security risks and gaps. Relevant professional experience in information security, cybersecurity or IT security. Good understanding of IT fundamentals and enterprise IT management practices. Knowledge of key information security standards and regulatory requirements in Europe; familiarity with US frameworks is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to research topics independently. Ability to assess information security risks and provide practical recommendations. Strong self-organization, initiative and ability to prioritize work. Good communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
