The Senior Hardware Quality Engineer designs and executes test plans for consumer connectivity products, ensuring compliance and performance through hands-on testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The role requires expertise in hardware interfaces like USB-C, HDMI, and Thunderbolt, alongside strong analytical skills to drive product quality improvements.
The Senior Hardware Quality Engineer (Sr. HQE) will be responsible for designing test plans, test specifications- architecting test cases that push accessory firmware and logic to its limits, on hand test execution for compatibility, functionality and performance while providing technical testing guidance to contractors, suppliers to ensure high quality customer experiences with Belkin Home Connectivity products. Individual will work collaboratively with Product Development Management (PDM), Program Management (PGM), Industrial Design (ID), Engineering and Design Assurance (DA) teams to identify design solutions to issues discovered during product testing and ensure that all products meet all established requirements before release. Ensure that the test results are thorough and clear, so that sound decisions can be made. Individual will be a key hands-on contributor in the product development life cycle.
