Senior Graphic Designer (Sports & Digital Content)

Who are we?

A world where complexity is the only constant demands a new breed of company. Brave Bison is a different beast: a media, marketing and technology company purpose built for the digital era.

Our universe is made up of award-winning business arms Brave Bison, Engage, SocialChain and MTM. And we’re underpinned by leading marketing training practice, MiniMBA, as well as our very own social-first media network who deliver monthly views in the billions for some of the biggest channels in sport and entertainment across YouTube, Snap, Meta and TikTok.

We’re a global collective who live and breathe digital, working with some of the boldest brands in the world to capitalise on the complexity that defines the modern marketing landscape.

Our mission

New platforms, new behaviours, new audiences, new trends, new technologies, new regulations—our clients’ worlds get more complex daily. Their agency partnerships shouldn’t. It’s our job to cut through the chaos, make the complex simple and navigate a clear path to growth for them.

That’s why we make it our mission to capitalise on complexity for our clients—across consultancy, capability and execution—by crafting dynamic digital solutions that outpace tomorrow’s challenges.

Our values

We’re a proudly diverse business comprised of deep specialists across media, marketing, training and technology. Although our skills, backgrounds and beliefs may differ, we are united by four core shared values:

Bold Curiosity.

We run at change and challenge convention because we love to push the boundaries of what the world thinks is possible. We champion discovery, go deep into our clients’ worlds and are always hungry to learn more about them, our specialisms and each other.

Connected Clarity.

We are focused in our collaboration — joining the right dots between our clients, our partners and our herd of experts to deliver agile solutions at speed and scale. We set a shared ambition from the outset, are transparent at every stage and always strive to make the complex simple.

Positive Encouragement.

We want to make working with us the best part of someone’s day. We lift one other up, find the fun in the day to day and are committed to ensuring everyone belongs.

Constant Impact.

We believe in outcomes over outputs. We’re goal orientated, results driven and data-led. We show up with passion every day. And we’re always honing our craft.

The role

We’re looking for a Senior Graphic Designer who can turn ideas into compelling visual narratives for global audiences. This role goes beyond just execution. You’ll translate concepts into high-quality visual work across campaigns, content, and brand systems, shaping how ideas are presented, packaged, and experienced across platforms.

You should be comfortable owning work from concept to delivery, thinking at both idea and execution level, and operating in a fast-paced environment where speed and judgment matter.

What You’ll Do

· Own projects from concept to final delivery, ensuring clarity of idea and quality of execution

· Design high-quality, original visuals across social, digital, and campaign work

· Develop storytelling-led creatives including carousels, explainers, and narrative-driven formats

· Translate briefs, insights, and trends into strong visual ideas, not just executions

· Adapt concepts into multiple platform-native formats (Instagram, X, YouTube, etc.)

· Build and evolve scalable design systems, templates, and repeatable formats

· Contribute to campaigns, launches, and key moments with thoughtful, high-impact design

· Create high-impact pitch decks and presentation visuals under tight timelines

· Integrate sponsor messaging and branded content in a seamless, creative way

· Design for global audiences, adapting content across markets and consumption behaviors

· Collaborate with content, social, and strategy teams to shape ideas and improve outputs

· Maintain high standards of craft, consistency, and detail across all deliverables

· Stay updated with design trends, platform evolution, and emerging tools (including AI)

Team & Creative Contribution

· Review and elevate team output, ensuring consistency and quality across designers

· Provide clear, actionable feedback to junior designers and interns

· Act as a quality gate for key projects and high-visibility work

· Contribute to improving creative processes, formats, and workflows

· Be a reliable contributor during high-pressure and time-sensitive situations

What You Bring

· 10-12 years of experience in graphic design (sports, media, or digital agency preferred)

· Strong understanding of sports, culture, and global digital audience behaviour

· A portfolio that demonstrates original thinking, storytelling, and system-based design

· Proven ability to translate business or campaign objectives into strong visual solutions

· Experience in creating high-quality pitch decks and presentation visuals

· Ability to present and articulate design decisions clearly to stakeholders

· Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (Figma/Keynote/PowerPoint is a plus)

· Strong skills in layout, typography, colour, and visual hierarchy

· Clear understanding of platform-specific formats and content optimization

· Ability to build scalable formats and design systems, not just one-off creatives

· A self-starter mindset with ownership and accountability

· Curiosity to learn, experiment, and innovate (including with AI tools)

· Ability to work quickly without compromising quality

· Strong attention to detail and time management

Nice to Have

· Experience working on campaigns or content series, not just one-off posts

· Experience with brand and sponsor integrations

· Strong understanding of internet culture and content trends

· Experience designing for international or diverse audiences

· Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments

What Success Looks Like

· Your work reflects strong ideas and storytelling, not just clean execution

· You create formats and systems that scale without becoming repetitive

· You consistently deliver high-quality, platform-relevant creatives

· You elevate both everyday content and high-visibility work

· You contribute meaningfully to creative direction and concept development

· You improve the overall quality and thinking of the team’s output

· You are trusted to handle high-stakes projects, including campaigns and pitch presentations
