Senior Geotechnical Engineer plans and executes soil investigations, designs foundations and retaining structures, and leads small-to-medium projects for infrastructure developments using geotechnical software and local standards.

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer. This role will support the delivery of high-quality infrastructure projects through strong technical capability in geotechnical investigations, analysis, and design. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute to project delivery, provide guidance to junior engineers, and help develop practical geotechnical solutions that meet client and project objectives.
What You’ll Do
- Plan, coordinate, and interpret geotechnical investigations, including fieldwork supervision and reporting.
- Undertake geotechnical and geostructural analyses and design for foundations, retaining structures, excavations, slopes, earthworks, pavements, and ground improvement works.
- Lead the delivery of geotechnical projects across all project phases, including technical analysis and design, preparation and review of reports and calculations, identification and management of geotechnical risks, and development of practical, cost-effective engineering solutions.
- Support business development and project planning activities, including proposal preparation, technical methodologies, fee estimates, resource planning, and coordination of project programmes and budgets.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical development of the team.
What You Will Bring to the Team
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, preferably with specialization in Geotechnical Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience in consulting, infrastructure, or related industries.
- Experience with geotechnical and geostructural analysis software such as PLAXIS, WALLAP, RS2, GeoStudio, LPILE, or equivalent.
- Strong technical capability in geotechnical design, including foundations, retaining structures, excavations, slopes, earthworks, pavements, and ground improvement.
- Working knowledge of relevant local and international geotechnical standards and industry practices.
- Experience delivering geotechnical projects across transportation, water, energy, resources, or other major infrastructure sectors.
