We are looking for a talented and tech-savvy Senior GenAI Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary GenAI Product team and play a key role in developing Board AI Agents.
AI Agents will be the cornerstone of the next-generation experience offered by the Board platform. The GenAI team is responsible for defining the roadmap, designing the architecture and user experience, and implementing AI agents, covering the entire product lifecycle.
As a GenAI Engineer, you will bring expertise in agentic AI integration, agent configuration, prompt engineering, LLM architecture design, and performance evaluation frameworks to drive innovation and excellence in AI-powered solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the design and evolution of agentic AI architectures for Board Assistants, ensuring scalability, reliability, maintainability, and seamless integration with the Board platform.
- Lead the end-to-end development and implementation of AI agents, from technical design and prototyping to production deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Define and implement advanced prompt engineering strategies, agent orchestration patterns, and LLM configurations.
- Design and continuously improve evaluation frameworks to assess agentic AI architectures, prompt effectiveness, model selection, and overall system performance, ensuring consistent, high-quality outputs.
- Establish engineering best practices for GenAI development, including testing, observability, performance optimization, security, and responsible AI principles.
- Partner with product managers, solution teams, UX, and engineering stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into robust AI-powered capabilities, particularly for flagship solutions such as FP&A, S&OP, and Retail Planning.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to fellow engineers, promoting knowledge sharing, sound architectural decisions, and high engineering standards across the team.
- Evaluate emerging GenAI technologies, frameworks, and approaches, identifying opportunities to enhance Board's AI capabilities while balancing innovation with enterprise-grade requirements and existing platform architecture.
Requirements:
- Solid experience in software engineering and architecture, with a track record of delivering scalable, production-grade solutions.
- Deep expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, and Agentic AI, including agent orchestration and tool integration.
- Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying GenAI applications in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of prompt engineering, LLM evaluation frameworks, and performance optimization.
- Solid experience with LLM integration patterns, APIs, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with modern software development practices.
- Experience with cloud-based AI services and architectures (Microsoft Azure is a plus).
- Ability to drive technical decisions, mentor engineers, and promote engineering best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proactive, open-minded, and passionate about innovation, with a pragmatic approach to technical challenges.
Annual Gross Salary Range
- CHF 63,000 - 73,000
