Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join an on-site, one-year extendable project in Qatar. This is a senior, hands-on engineering role responsible for serving as the technical authority for an integrated enterprise platform covering CRM, portfolio delivery, and financial workflows.

The successful candidate will work within a secure, regulated, offline Windows environment and will be responsible for designing, building, maintaining, and evolving business-critical full-stack applications. Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, Node.js, Express, React, and TypeScript is required, along with the ability to work effectively without cloud CI/CD systems or direct internet access to package registries.

This role is particularly suited to an experienced senior or lead engineer who has successfully owned production systems end to end and can take over and evolve unfamiliar, business-critical codebases. Experience with SAP S/4HANA or OpenText Content Server APIs would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical authority for the integrated enterprise platform.
• Design, build, and maintain full-stack enterprise applications.
• Develop and optimize Microsoft SQL Server solutions, with a strong focus on T-SQL.
• Design and maintain effective database schemas.
• Perform safe database migrations and maintain data integrity.
• Develop RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.
• Work with the mssql driver for backend database integration.
• Develop modern frontend applications using React 18 and TypeScript.
• Build and maintain applications using Vite and TanStack Query.
• Support React Native development for mobile applications.
• Maintain applications within an on-premises Windows Server environment.
• Safely take over and evolve unfamiliar, business-critical production codebases.
• Maintain reliable development practices within secure and restricted offline networks.
• Work without reliance on cloud CI/CD or direct internet access to package registries.
• Support the continued evolution and reliability of the enterprise platform.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders across CRM, portfolio delivery, and financial workflows.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining full-stack applications.
• 5+ years of experience as a senior or lead engineer owning a production system end to end.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Advanced practical knowledge of T-SQL.
• Experience with database schema design and safe database migrations.
• Strong backend development experience with Node.js and Express.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Strong frontend development experience with React 18 and TypeScript.
• Experience with Vite and TanStack Query.
• Experience with React Native.
• Experience working with Windows Server and on-premises environments.
• Proven ability to take over and evolve unfamiliar business-critical codebases.
• Strong experience working productively in restricted or offline networks.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or OpenText Content Server APIs is a bonus.
• Strong technical problem-solving and system ownership capabilities.
