Senior full-stack engineer building scalable, resilient applications with a Java back-end and an Angular/TypeScript front-end, deployed on AWS at large scale. Advertised as remote, with the role based around Eccles, Manchester, paying £70,000–£85,000 per year.
Strong commercial experience with Java development
Strong TypeScript experience and excellent Angular development experience
Strong understanding of REST APIs, distributed systems, software engineering principles, and best practices
Significant experience with AWS and large-scale cloud environments
Experience designing and building scalable, resilient applications
Comfortable working across front-end and back-end development
Able to take technical ownership, drive projects forward, and make pragmatic architectural and engineering decisions
Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to other engineers
Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical decisions
Leads by example, remains hands-on, and enjoys solving complex technical problems
Takes ownership, enjoys working in a product-led environment, and is comfortable challenging ideas and contributing to technical strategy
Able to support and develop less experienced engineers

Design and build new functionality and improve existing services
