Senior full-stack developer building and maintaining web applications end to end for a client company in Rustenburg — front-end interfaces with modern JavaScript frameworks, back-end services and APIs, and database design — in a hybrid remote/office arrangement.
Our client is actively recruiting a seasoned Senior Full Stack Developer to enhance their technology team based in Rustenburg. This role requires a versatile developer capable of contributing to both front-end and back-end development, ensuring the delivery of seamless and dynamic user experiences. You will play a key part in designing, building, and maintaining robust web applications, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to translate innovative ideas into functional software. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable, high-quality code across the entire application stack, from front-end interfaces to back-end services. Design and implement efficient databases and APIs to support application functionality. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and responsive user interfaces. Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across development, testing, and production environments. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance product offerings. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 6 years of professional full-stack development experience. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Java Script, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). Strong experience with back-end languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, C#) and frameworks. Expertise in relational database management systems (e.g., Postgre SQL, My SQL) and/or No SQL databases.
