At INGENIOUS.BUILD, we have developed a top-notch platform for companies in the real estate and construction industries worldwide. Our platform enables companies to easily manage all aspects of their projects from start to finish, both internally and with other project participants.
Joining INGENIOUS.BUILD means embarking on an incredible journey to create the first cloud application for managing the entire lifecycle of a real estate construction project. You'll be building what some consider the holy grail of construction project management. It's a big, bold, and audacious endeavor, and if you have what it takes, you'll play a direct role in its development.
And if you’ve got what it takes, you’ll be directly involved in its development. The rest, as they say, will be history...
Are you a Senior Full Stack Developer who loves coding, solving interesting problems, and being part of something truly impactful? INGENIOUS.BUILD could be the perfect place for you! We’re a remote team with big goals, and we are looking for someone with initiative who’s ready to jump in and help us make a real difference in our industry.
Being a part of the team you will:
- Use software like PHP 8.5, Laravel 12, JS and PostgreSQL.
- See that our goal is to minimize meetings, allowing you to focus on what you do best: building
- Our flexible working hours mean you can work when you’re most productive
- This is a collaborative space and avoids unnecessary bureaucracy, so every team member influences the product
- Our team has many experienced people who love discussing interesting challenges and sharing knowledge, so there’s always support and inspiration around every corner
- Be committed to continually improving our codebase, reducing legacy code, adding tests, and keeping things up-to-date
- The DevOps team is responsible for infrastructure, so you can focus on development. Our pipelines are set up with PHPStan, PHPCS, unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, all supporting automatic deployments
- Learn that our philosophy is to write code that’s easy to test and reason about. By structuring business logic in clear PHP classes, separate from the framework, we avoid complex, 'magical' solutions that complicate understanding and testing
- We have a fairly big modular monolith. The interactions between modules are based on facades, adapters, or events, helping us maintain strong boundaries and modularity. In our more intricate modules, we incorporate DDD to keep the domain logic well-structured and business-aligned.
What type of person are we looking for?
- We’re looking for engineers who care about impact, not just implementation. You won’t just take tickets and ship code, you’ll help shape the solution. We value teammates who think beyond their “part,” who want to understand the why behind the work, and collaborate to find the best path forward. That means asking questions, challenging assumptions, and partnering across functions to deliver outcomes that really move the needle for the business
- Someone proactive who brings fresh ideas and energy to the team.
- A developer with grit and a drive to tackle tough challenges.
- A person excited to be part of a transformative project that could reshape the industry.
Skills and Experience needed:
- Communicative English at a B2 level or higher.
- Extensive experience building scalable applications, ideally with large-scale systems like CRM, CMS, or ERP. Direct SaaS experience is a strong plus.
- Advanced proficiency in PHP 8.1+ and modern frameworks like Laravel or Symfony, with deep experience in modular monolith and layered architecture.
- Experience with JavaScript, commercial experience with Vue is a strong plus.
- Strong focus on framework-agnostic development, prioritizing clean, maintainable code that maximizes business value and minimizes dependencies.
- Thorough knowledge of automated testing frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit) and robust testing strategies, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code.
Benefits of Working with Us:
- We provide high-performance company laptops for optimal productivity.
- Unlimited PTO lets you take the time you need to recharge.
- One-time $500 office budget to set up your workspace.
- $50 monthly for educational resources, rolling over until year-end.
