About Escape
Escape is transforming offensive security for resource-constrained teams. We build AI agents that identify and exploit vulnerabilities in modern applications, APIs, and microservices—mimicking real attackers, but operating at CI pipeline speed.
A Y Combinator W23 company, we recently closed an $18M Series A (March 2026) led by Balderton Capital, with Uncorrelated Ventures, IRIS, and YC participating. Trusted by leaders like Zoom, Schibsted, Wiz, and Pandadoc, Escape is helping teams move beyond traditional annual penetration testing. Now 40 people between Paris and NYC, we’re scaling to 80 in the next year.
Our product surface spans ASM, business-logic-aware DAST, and AI Pentesting, all going GA this year. Our competitive thesis: LLMs have reduced the cost of offensive engineering by 1000x—and those who deliver it to production first will shape the decade ahead. We’re committed to leading that charge.
The Role: Fullstack oriented Design, Frontend-end
We are seeking a Senior Front-end with background in Design to steward the frontend craft of Escape’s SaaS product. This is neither a simple implementation nor a passive pixel-pushing role.
You will join the SaaS/Web Development Team, acting as a key bridge with Product. Your focus: transform complex cybersecurity workflows into fast, elegant, and intuitive product experiences. You’ll deeply understand customer problems and design, build, and ship interfaces that make sophisticated processes feel simple.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong product judgment and taste
- Advanced frontend engineering skills
- Ability to design and build reusable component systems
- Solid backend understanding for independent API integration
- A keen eye for visual and interaction details ("le compas dans l’œil")
What You’ll Own
Product Experience
- Build and iterate on Escape’s core SaaS app for vulnerability discovery, testing, triage, and remediation
- Design UIs for asset inventory, attack surface exploration, scan configuration, AI pentesting, dashboards, reporting, and more
- Simplify dense, technical, and data-heavy product surfaces
Frontend Architecture & Components
- Develop reusable, scalable UI components and improve overall frontend architecture
- Maintain consistency, performance, and responsiveness across the product
- Keep the codebase clean, typed, tested, and maintainable
Design System
- Evolve Escape’s design system: component patterns, layout, forms, tables, navigation, accessibility, and visual consistency
- Move quickly from concepts to production code, leveraging tools like Claude Design, v0, and Figma
Backend Integration
- Integrate with GraphQL APIs, manage TypeScript types, data fetching, pagination, filtering, mutations, and API contracts
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers and proactively drive schema discussions
Success in the Role
After 3 months:
- Shipped impactful product improvements and migrated the SaaS app toward a new design system
- Met key customers to build strong workflow intuition, driving product enhancements
- Improved component quality and UI consistency
After 6 months:
- Taken ownership of major product surfaces
- Enhanced the design system and reusable components
- Accelerated team velocity through improved UX patterns
- Trusted to interface directly across functions and ensure production quality
After 12 months:
- Elevated Escape’s SaaS product to new levels of polish, consistency, and scalability
- Set the frontend engineering quality standard
- Built product experiences supporting enterprise scale
