Senior FP&A / Financial Modeling Consultant

Cox Consulting Network (CCN) is seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior FP&A / Financial Modeling Consultant to support a growing organization with financial planning, SG&A budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable building financial models from scratch, improving reporting accuracy, and supporting finance leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Manage SG&A budgeting, forecasting, and budget-to-actual variance analysis.
  
• Build integrated financial operating models in Excel, including revenue, expense, and profitability models.
  
• Develop driver-based forecasts, scenario analyses, and long-term financial plans.
  
• Reconcile financial models to general ledger data to ensure accuracy.
  
• Support financial planning across multiple business units and revenue streams.
  
• Identify data discrepancies and improve financial reporting processes.
  
• Prepare executive-level reporting and ad hoc financial analysis.
  
• Partner with finance leadership to strengthen FP&A processes and financial visibility.
  

Qualifications

• 7+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or financial modeling experience.
  
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including building complex financial models from scratch.
  
• Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, SG&A, and financial reporting.
  
• Experience with GL data, financial reconciliations, and integrated operating models.
  
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in private equity-backed, SaaS, or high-growth organizations.
  
• ARR, recurring revenue, or SaaS metrics modeling.
  
• Sage Intacct or other ERP/FP&A systems.
  
• Financial process improvement and automation experience.
